  1. I am reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman. I am over halfway through, and I am really enjoying it. Whether it is comics or novels, Gaiman is a really great writer imo.
  2. Agreed. This book would be a great restoration candidate.
  3. I'm glad you didn't get the grader notes. Spine has issues but cover is attached at both staples and probably 4" of spine splitting. Now all I need are 27 and 29. I can see me getting the 29 one day but 27 I would have to sell all in my sig line plus a few more items for a decent presenting low grade copy. "Affordable" 29 coming up in CConnect. http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=658792 Looks great Leroy. Congratulations
  4. I thought that Cap 1 had already overtaken Marvel Comics 1 as the top Marvel book.
  5. There is not much you can do with it unless you find a back cover to marry it with.
  6. My guess is it would command 3-5k on the low side Thanks Rick
  7. Hey G.A.tor, Since the prices for Tec 38 have been all over the map this past year, what do you think is the going rate for a coverless copy?
  8. Here ya go UNWRITTEN MARKETPLACE RULES: Warning, Spoiler: If you are new here and are interested in buying books in the marketplace, please understand that the Marketplace on these forums is a 'buyer beware' environment - it is your responsibility to do your own research to avoid overpaying for an item. If a member is misrepresenting their items or price history, take it to the Discussion Thread. You are also responsible to review the Probation/Hall of Shame List , this list is maintained by the community to help members avoid those who have had problems selling on the forum or outside of the forum between two board members. There is also a Kudos Forum in the marketplace which is reserved for positive feedback only, to find a Kudos thread use the options at the bottom of the marketplace & sort by thread-starter to find their Kudos thread. The general law of the land is that "a deal is a deal" - if you are contemplating a purchase, choose your words carefully to ensure that your intentions are understood. In general, opinions are shared freely on sales taking place elsewhere. People often question price, grade etc...that type of commentary is NOT allowed in any active sales threads, disrupting a fellow board members sales thread is considered threadkrapping - the forum moderators will issue strikes for disrupting sales threads.
  9. Not anymore.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Amazing-Fantasy-15-COVERLESS-/272200759942?hash=item3f606dfa86:g:-ZUAAOSwzgRWyXQj -J. This type of buying makes me thankful that i have a copy of this book.
  10. I'm just curious as to why you went a second time to Star Wars if it was so bad. Answer highlighted Let me get this straight SW: TFA you consider the worst SW movie of all time. That means two things then you must have #1 never seen the SW prequels and #2 you must consider BvS the worst movie of all time then correct? simple response gets a simple reply: #1 Yes and #2 No So can SW: TFA really be the worst SW movie of all time if you have not seen the prequels? Maybe a more correct statement is, "I think SW: TFA is the worst SW movie that I have ever seen." Do I CONSTANTLY have to explain my replies to you. #1 - YES I SAW THE PREQUELS jeez Sorry, you answered yes to #1 - never seeing the prequels. I must have misinterpreted it. I won't ask anymore about it.

  14. I saw it in 3D because everything else was sold out. I typically do not like 3D movies; they typically distract me. But this one did not. Not much of an endorsement, but if you extrapolate, that might mean the 3D is decent. Thanks. I will pass the information along.
  15. I've been asked by a few people whether it matters to see this film in 3D or not. Anyone know if 3D is worth it?
  16. Nice catch Harold. That missing centerfold would have been a no go for me.
  17. He is 3 hours ahead of me and never got back to me on a deal till just now. I have been his bud for around 20 years great guy. He just said he put in his listing ( No foreign bids will be accepted. ) thats prob why you could not see anything. He is east coast according to the listing. Us West Coasters totally missed out.
  18. Omg. How did i miss this I missed it cause it was a US only auction and didn't show up on my radar. You have no excuse Keith. I would have been all over that 28. So not my week.
  19. Jeff this copy looks simply amazing. Makes my 4.0 look like chump change.
