I don't have any better pics atm but all in all it is just sour grapes from being spoiled on the forums with books. It has some really bad tears at the staples with additional imprints from pressing and some SCS on the upper over hang. I'll send it off for a reholder and chalk this up to remembering to wait and find something on boards. I'm definitely no expert, but one of the "advantages" of an old label book is that it usually pre-dates the pressing explosion. What makes you so sure it was pressed? And what is SCS?

Don't rush the plot! I think I've seen this movie before! Wasn't Tom Cruise in it? Knight & Day?

Let's assume that GIJoe's dad actually did monitor his emails/PMs (instead of just saying he did to get other parents off his back), and let's assume that "monitor" means reading through every single one of them. If this is true, from strictly an email/PM perspective, he would see his son buying comics, then later coming back and saying they are not the grade stated. Not sure if one can make the jump (without hearing conversations b/n the two) from that to knowing his son was not telling the truth about stated grades. *** Note: I did not read through every post here, nor track through every FB message, so if there is definitive evidence about the grade negging, I will eat crow.

His dads Facebook says he is home schooled I also thought a FB post said something about GIJoe helping out his science teacher or similar.

Pretty sure I know the answer to this, but how was he quoting GPA prices to JL on that MOS 18? You have to pay for an account over there.

Well, to be fair, when he said that you "can't grade" did he ever mention in which direction you missed the grade? Takes stones like Gibraltar, and a teaspoon sized gray matter pan, to pull a move like that on the boards and think it won't get noticed. Come on, guys. Comics pay for his family.

I understand where you're coming from - but right now your posts are looking a little irrational. Just think about it from his perspective. A little?? I think I got hit with the same Beta change yesterday afternoon. Just when you have it how you like it, they mess it up. As to heating up, some have already said this, but the Photo Cover for Sex Criminals #1 has been doing great for me. Sales between $10-$12 2 weeks after it came out is pretty good (esp when you find them for cover). As long as people with big orders coming in at the end of the month know how to ration sales accordingly, should be good for some time. Also, may be one of the best recent covers for an SS.

Ikea has lots of options! I have one that is three by three and holds two short boxes per shelf! But they manufacture many other options too! That's what I'm talking about! Is it completely modular?

Trying to find a shelf/stand that is 3 rows across and 2 high to hold my short boxes. Wood is preferable over metal, something sturdy; haven't been able to find one that fit the dimensions correctly. Is this something I should/can build, or are there is a national chain that has what I'm looking for?

Delivered on Christmas Eve! The 8.5 was a nice surprise and that is a very nice looking 9.4 Hulk. I guess it evens out.
