  1. I have a couple in pretty good condition compared to what I saw on eBay. Does anyone with a copy know the right size of bag/board for them?
  2. I don’t think the 6th softcover is rare, just difficult to keep in nice condition as it’s prestige and gigantic. Doesn’t really fit in a magazine bag/board if I remember correctly.
  3. May not necessarily need that first qualifier — bring back every book no matter the processed date (and output a lot more than just cert number). And while I agree a query like that is very simple, I don’t know if such a query is possible at CGC. I am basing this on Lion’s reply as he used to work there.
  4. You realize the pictures you quoted are all different printings/editions. Between those two photos there is one first print. On top of that, all the comics pictured are only a single copy. So what are you trying to prove?
  5. Last week I found a beat #15 in a collection and bought it for $1 just because. Usually when I check for Static in backstock I don’t see any issues at all.
  6. With Static I never see anything over issue 10. Meaning, in my local stores, conventions, FB collections, etc.
  7. No way eBay did this by itself. Someone would have had to click something.
  8. Correct; eBay will relist unsold auctions if you opt in. Those requirements do not hold for the original, sold listing.
  9. eBay didn’t relist it. I have been selling there for over a decade and I’ve never had a sold book relisted automatically; it makes no sense. Best case scenario Dylan relisted a book he sold a month ago — which is no longer in his possession and would really have no reason to even click on —by accident (and it took him several days, a calling out here, and eBay messages) to realize it. Worst case scenario...
  10. Ahhh, I missed the CGC part. However, I do not see where it says eBay automatically relisted the book.
  11. Good guess I posted on my Instagram story feed about him and he sent me a messaging saying that what i'm doing is "against the law". Then he made a post tagging me and CGC talking about it being completely their fault and that they've had the books for a month. I said it on the first page of last thread about this....he has emotional maturity issues in dealing with issues like this. He could have easily: 1. Accepted his fault in this by admitting to listing them as is AND not putting anything in the subject line about restoration 2. Apologized and moved on 3. Stopped digging the hole deeper by talking about disassembling books, removing resto and what not. Pretty simple when one realizes how to handle situations like this instead of making it worse. Unfortunately, it seems like this thought pattern/process will continue. Probably a result of a privileged upbringing where your dad allows you to make a career out of selling comic books. So, if I'm following correctly, this goes back to Dylan asking the original buyers for the books back and he sent them to CGC for a new holder/label. I believe this particular ASM was one which was supposed to be sent back. Does Dylan have the books back or not? If he doesn't have the book, why was it relisted? If he does have the book, it should be a different label.
  12. Got it; so the 2 previously-sold eBay copies went for those prices. Are there any saved eBay sales from March/April as a comparison?
  13. Maybe this time someone should drop Overstreet a note. I also hereby rescind my previous "Huzzah" and "hats off".
  14. Trying to decipher this. Are you saying before the hype 9.0 copies were selling for $15k?
  15. Another solid price for a #7 2nd print CGC 9.8. $1326
  16. There is hope. Several weeks with nothing, then it just shows up. I also signed up for text notifications and never received any when it reappeared in CA, was out for delivery, or was delivered.
  17. And people know these are second prints, right?
  18. I don’t think that is a sign of manipulation. Higher prices — of any collectible — usually brings more copies to market.
  19. Thanks. Are there any other recent sales or just this one? Trying to figure out a 9.4 price.
  20. Exactly. “We’ll be good from now on (now that we are caught); we promise.”
  21. Actually, it’s the opposite of a pressing thread. If you press, no need to put your hand up....or even post at all. nm
