  1. Good talking with you the other day, Dennis! BTW all- My scanner is presently taking a dirt nap. I'll have to come up with another way to post material here until I get it working again. Stay tuned!
  2. Speaking of Undead... My initial impression of this one was "oh man, that guy is waking up in the morgue & is all freaked out." Then, I looked at it closer...
  3. Ya know, I'm thinking this books is a bit symbolic for some reason. For instance, Pov doesn't collect horror comics anymore, and smoking ( as illustrated by the skeleton girl ) is not considered chic anymore. Change. Yet, the issue makes an appearance on page 1 of the thread, and shows up again close to 3 years later. Despite time & change, this horror thread remains... UNDEAD.
  4. Wow. A copy of this book appeared on the very first page of this thread when it was started. (Thanks, Pov! ) I'm finally getting around to posting my copy....
  5. I love this cover They must be coming home from work because they look dead tired...

  9. Yep. I think this Elias effort is much better, though....
  10. Hope everyone stays safe this New Years Eve! This one might be my last scan for the thread this year. Here's to more horror goodness in 2008!
  11. That book has a lot going for it. Pat Calhoun is a cool, respected figure amongst horror collectors, great art, & my presonal fave - "title swipery." (i.e. Out of the Night.) (thumbs u
  12. Ya know, for some reason whenever I see Matt Fox these days, it reminds me of Shiverbones' art. (That's a compliment, Mr. Kirscht.)
  13. Yeah, I love all the "title swipery" that went on back then in this genre.
