I don't think you are being paranoid at all. I don't see a reason for this at all unless you are up to no good. eBay already makes it so you can't see the bidders only their feedback so this extra step taken by this seller seems fishy. Also, I am not all the familiar with Invincible art sales but that price seems REALLY aggressive. mathew

Just a heads up to all you Preacher art fans out there. The owner of the #6 page 3 art that recently was just ended on eBay is not the friendliest person. After a few emails back and forth they really need to work on their customer service skills.

The new Jessica Jones comic series by Bendis is one of the only Marvel books I read. It's really good

I hope they do an amazing job of it. Sifi, Netflix, AMC doesn't matter. I just want a great version of Deadly Class on TV. I love the book. It and Southern Bastards are my favorite books on the shelves right now. I actually sold off all of my comics but kept my Deadly Class (and Southern Bastards) books as I just couldn't bare with letting them go. In fact, for those who don't know my current collecting tastes, I am heavily invested in Deadly Class not only with my run of comics and variants but also original artwork. I have owned a few pages and covers of the years but through it all these are two of my favorite works of art I own... I have never started a "new art day" thread usually I just post the updates in the "This week in your ORIGINAL ART collection?" thread but this art is special to me (even though it isn't the most expensive piece of art) and I am still having a hard time believing its in my collection. I while ago I set out to add a Gotham Central piece to my collection. I hit all the regular channels and even reached out to Michael Lark about any pages he may still have hidden in a corner. Well, it turned out he did have some. He sent them to Mark Hay at Slashpage art who I got in touch with about buying a nice page. Mark kept me in the loop told me about some great Joker pages he now had and emailed me just moments after they went live to his site. It was literately 5 minutes after they went live that i went to the site but, in that short time the amazing Joker pages I wanted had sold. I felt disappointed but did manage to pick up a nice half page splash of a pivotal moment in the book (Renee kicking Carrigan's butt) . Then a few days later, I received an email from the owner of numerous covers to the series. If you have read the series, which you should if you haven't, then you know Batman doesn't appear very often and he is usually just implied when he does so, to be able to add a cover from Gotham Central with said implied Batman was just awesome. Shortly after the first email we struck a deal and this cover to Gotham Central #3 is now part of my little collection. The main image shown is just the print signed by Sienkiewicz (which I also have one of) and the second image is of him drawing the image. Again, something just doesn't seem right. I highly doubt that the winner will get the original art but instead just the signed print. mathew
