Your little synopsis sparked my interest... so I jumped in Comixology and what do you know! Issue 1 is free. Currently downloading - thx for the tip. All you need to do now is figure out how to get it slabbed for under $60. Oh, hang-on its digital. Carry on. I'll read anything & digital kicks for that. But I only collect Bat slabs.

Yeah.. agreed. Plus that Tony Daniel SS zero is the only one in the census.. so I feel like I've entered the CGC slab collecting realm in an acceptable way. Considering the funds I've (not) got to work with. :-)

Around the same. The lowest was Catwoman 13, with just over 20,000. I just point out Batman 13's second printing because it's a sweet cover. The Batgirl and Catwoman covers are , IMO. Interesting!! Where do you find such data?

Look.. I know this isn't very exciting. But I found it interesting, given it's an "Australian" re-print issue... I'm estimating 1982. No freaking idea how to stick it in collectorz.com software. hahahaha.

I was just getting myself primed to submit a bunch of moderns. Now I'm a bit unsure.. that's a hell of a long time.

The sheer volume of talent in here is astounding!!! Some seriously impressive artists!! I used to love drawing back in high-school... last time I picked up a pen or a brush was 1996. But I got bitten by the bug a couple of months ago and made an attempt at a zombie: Pretty I know.. but I've gotta start somewhere. The only way is up! :-) Some serious inspiration in this thread. Will pull out the sketch book tonight after work I think! :-)

Oh man. I am the TOTAL n00b. Recently fallen in love with comics and just won three signed comics on eBay that I was oh-so-proud of. Should've read this first.. can't get the SS obviously. So perhaps I should just go for normal CGC. Bummer. Oh well - learn the hard way.
