Obviously you see both sides of the argument though - I honestly don't have strong feelings about whether or not they go on the PL, HoS or nothing, because sadly I don't think it makes a difference. First of all, many people don't check these lists at all. Secondly, the people that are on them (certainly those in the HoS) are very unlikely to try and sell under the same board IDs anyway. And then you have solarcadet, who has conclusively proved that even if you do use the same ID, it doesn't stop you doing deals. Balham's Finest, You prove my point. Changing my user ID would look like I am trying to hide and clearly someone would figure it out. Im not shilling or publicly selling. The ones that buy or trade with me knows i am on HOS and still do deals. I am not a dealer trying to shill and drive up prices and make an extra buck. HOS and it's lack there of stigma is diluted due to (Non-HOS)shillers openly operating like Symbi. Im curious why the mods let him continue to do that

Do you have a contract written up for consignees to fill out/sign? It should outline the services offered, the role you play, the fees that the customer covers, the fees that you cover... etc. you have to look the part like this professional dealer... homeslice had a Tec 27, Action 1, and Supes 1 in that case at Wondercon

That's not the same as not "hiding it". It's also not the same as "it was a joke", when you tried to use it to excuse yourself from a failure to perform in a transaction as promised. I don't think I posted in any of your threads attacking you. Maybe I did. I can't remember. I certainly never mentioned your mother. That much I know. One of the definitions of fraud is using false pretenses or lies in dealing with others to alter, or sway, the transaction in a direction it may not have gone otherwise. Like lying about a parents death in order to attempt to explain or assuage a failure to ship items. If you lie in the middle of a deal, for any reason, you probably shouldn't be touting your honesty in dealing. I never failed to ship any item. I have done no boardie wrong.... Yup. The call of "add him to the HOS list" seems quite strong these days. Maybe too strong. I agree, I think we are losing the original point of the HOS list. It was for serious actions, most of which constituted acts which were akin to stealing. AlleyBat attempted to steal $5k in a Batman 1 scam Comic Supply took money for numerous orders and never sent the items Heral2galactus had multiple transactions where he received items/money and never reciprocated. Black and white bad apples, no doubt. What seems to be happening lately is a few people with no morals, no common sense and no idea of how to join in and be part of something are getting some of the normal members so annoyed, that the PITA people are being put on the HOS list. That was not the intent. We need a stand in the corner until you grow up list. Meanwhile, we had some discussions about having polls in CG, where they would be blind polls so that more people could take part and not be influenced by others. I still think that's a good idea. Don't get me wrong, I happen to really appreciate the new people who have donated time here, they are caring and great members, but HOS needs to be for really egregious actions, repetitive or horrid+ actions...not just a dumb PITA person who acts like (or is) a teenager). Lying about your father dying...well, that's just plain juvenile and sad. It is not however, HOS material. I think the only reason you're there is because you want to be. the HOS never changed anything. i still sell and buy from various boardies im 100% seller/buyer on ebay with 600+ transactions to each is to their own. The only way to stop these things like Symbi is close out the public sales and do them all private. I've been thinking of other ways but thanks for your lack of concern.
