Williams books look similar (in graphic design) in each and every country they have been published – maybe it’s an early example of a cross-country publishing venture? I have seen danish, german and italian ones are very similar. I think it was one main publisher that printed Sweden, Finland, and Norway as the formats were very similar. My Superman 233s from there are exact in format other than the language I still get confused on a few of my Batman 423s so i marked the back mylars. The Denmark, Norway, and Sweden editions are very difficult to identify I call these the cold foreigns.

I dont have these Apparently these Norway keys are as rare or more than Mexican keys. The difference I am personally experiencing is these Norway guys have money and dont care to sell as opposed to South America/Mexico. I feel like Im that Italian mafia guy in Lillyhammer trying to snow over these cool collectors and get their books over here into the states :: :: :: I would basically give away any book in my collection for this book :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

love the Star Wars very cool never seen it before! did you know there is a new movie coming out? I think I had heard something about that.... You know its funny… a lot of people are speculating what the new movies are going to do to the SW back issue comics market but in all honesty I don’t really care. I all I care about is that the new movies capture even some of the spirit of the original trilogy. Please Disney….. I would be happy if the new movies even captured 25% of the soul of the originals. The prequels had so little of that special something the originals had in spades. i think there is no one better than the Spielberg disciple Abrams to helm the movies. I loved the Star Trek movies and that is coming from someone who never liked Star Trek shows.....

One of my favorite Goldens.... Even the foreign editions have jumped up in price. The Australian edition used to be a $5 reprint all day then recently sold for $465 Beautiful 5.5 you have. Im hoping i can squeek out a 4.0 my copy was from Mark Waid's private collection

Thank you very much. By showing my foreign sets I have had a lot of help from boardies help me locate the hard to find editions. In any language, it's a beautiful McFarlane cover.

Im not postive but i believe this might be a 3rd print. Not sure if they did 1st prints with the "DC Comics..." ill have to check this out. If it is a 1st print then there would be 3 types... 2 Direct and one Newstand Barcode Thanks Kevin76!

Post your 9.8 love to see it I have never been able to find one Wish McFarlane would have stayed on Batman covers i think his talent would have been more suitable to Batman than Spiderman
