Man. I just love the mood - and the fact that these are actually done with actual ink - not from a computer to a press... Weird and I never though as a child that this would be a dying art!
-
Haha, in all seriousness. Beautiful pick ups today.
-
Wow, I wanna know your secret VA LAIR I mean LCS... Muahahahah
-
Please send it to me... That is a bute
-
+1 this is my modus operendi also! Picked up a DD1 in march. Waiting waiting waiting to see where it lands with grading. I think I'm comfortable with where I think it's going to be but fingers crossed.

Very cool! Congrats...
Hey, where the heck has E.S. been?
-
Assessment of the story so far? Won't get mine till Saturday. Thumbs up? I liked 1

I've been buying and bagging them for several issues, then I stopped buying. Just got the second trade in the mail and read the majority on a flight to Chicago this afternoon. Damn I love this book. I wish I had a RRP but glad I have the copies I do. I'm mad I took it off my pull list now and will likely add it again. Damn good fun read!

I have to be honest here, I'm surprised it got a 9.6. The corner was dinged so I sent it in with some silvers to be pressed. I thought that it would fix the issue but there was a bit of color break. All and all I'm feeling ok about it... It probably would have been cheaper to just buy a 9.8 on ebay. Just think its funny that I have the only 9.6.

I mean suck it winners!
-
Just got my box from CGC. There are 104 9.8 ghosts on census, but only ONE 9.6 blue... That's right. If you don't succeed at winning, succeed at mediocrity! Suck it losers!

I am jealous. Would have loved to grab one but the silvers are pulling me away. In all honesty, I've made some stupid gambles on moderns so I'm going back to what I know for now. I wish I had the extra scratch but alas, whateves.

Oh... My. Very nice. That's some good stuff there. I would be scared to carry those slabs around for fear that I'd stub my toe, drop them and disrupt the perfect air surrounding their awesomeness.

Great haul! I love that GL 85! His name is Speedy... OF COURSE HE'S A JUNKIE!

Bought my reader from midtown in the city (not online). I picked up my 3 #3s from my LCS thinking they were going to have the same line and they look great. No creases.
Also, seems like there is too much story to unfold before the TB (1-5). I'm just suprised 6 won't be folded in.
-
Sweet! You got yourself a keeper there apparently!
My wife simply looks at me and says "How much did you pay for that!?"
They're amazingly all $20!!!
This made me laugh out loud. So sad but so true...

The Big Bang theory uses a laugh track.
Which means the producers of the show think its audience is too stupid to know when to laugh.
It's also an advertisement for all things Warner brothers.
I don't think real comic fans like the show.
Jimmy, totally agree 100% hate this show and one of the biggest reasons is the laugh track. The other reason is because the humor is written by troglodytes trying to sound intelligent. Lastly, because its just not funny.... I loathe the show.

Just read #3 last night. Anybody else have a Printing error on the inside "title" page (approx. inside pg 4-5 I think?) Both my pull copies have a straight vertical crease running the length of the book in the same spot.
Not really worth it to make a fuss at the shop, and of course I didn't open the bag and board (free on Wed) to double check.
Wondering if my books were just part of a bad lot or if the whole run had this.
Mine have this defect:
Mine too... As for the story, will be reading tonight. I'm still catching up and saving best for last.
Also, Chris... WTF with hula girl. I'm so saddened. Grace Jones makes a horrible hula girl.

I think cover stock has a lot to do with it. Image has been very smart about that. You're not going to find the influx of 9.9s and 10s with Marvel or DC. That said, hy does it bother you - 9.8s loosing value or because with nowhere to go upwardly, something negative will happen to the market? Not critical, just curious.
-
i am wondering if this book is being supported by these boards
I think its a good title. Then again what do I know.
Haha, really? I'm so suprised by the disinterest. Different opinions and all. This one sucked me in and the only thing that pisses me off is the fact that I have to wait a month to find out what's next.

Just a shout out to Larry for this. Thank you! I love this cover and the sigs look great in silver. I'm oh so happy with it.

Finally got around to reading #1-2, and glad I did. It would be good if Joe Casey could read these books and get an idea of how to set up a story so the first issue draws you in and makes you NEED to read the second. I read Bounce a few days ago and got a very "meh" feeling from it, much like I did with his other book Sex. But Hickman knows how to tell a story and suck a reader in. Can't wait for #3!
Wow, do I agree 100% with this! I don't even understand the purpose of bounce. East of West is terrific though. Come on number 3!

Super fast shipping. Great communication ans follow through and the book had great eye appeal in hand. I couldn't be happier.

Chris S. as I've said before, when you post all I want to do is read your valuable content, and all that Ends up happening is watching your gif for 3-4 minutes at a stretch. It's not very productive... But totally worth while. Never gets old.
