  1. Purchased an Avengers 1 3.0. The shipping from Canada went very smoothly. He shipped the day the payment was made and his communication was terrific. Very much appreciate the effort in making sure the slab was well protected too. One of my new favorite books.

    Thanks again!

  2. My ice cream man was giving away Bubble covers when you purchased a super sour gorilla pop. Super sour gorilla pops are the new new NWM. I would have bought one but I didn't know where to put the Bubble cover...

Seriously... What to do with those investments... I wish they came with pages made out of rolling papers and ink laden with THC... Though in reality, it would have just been cheaper to pour money into the real thing.

  3. Ah, but a local news channel's "action team" needs none of those things.

I wonder if the one I contacted ever investigated the Neeleys?

    :)

Judging by what was dug up, I am sure that the Neeley's have been investigated for bigger things than comic book scams.

Speaking of them, got this in an email from the Neeleys the other day... 'You got my amazon closed so now I have no way for people to pay me.. Thanks alot..'

  4. OHHHHH. Man, once again I feel like a tool.

She said it was clearly a case of misrepresentation. The issue wasn't that the text was hidden in the copy - though there was clearly malice. The issue was the amount of copy that was dumped in to hide the text. No big surprise there. They said that they would submit a fraud report for the seller and would likely suspend his ability to sell. I don't know if anything more will be done.

I went to the higher level because I was running off some sale numbers for her to demonstrate how expensive this could get and that Elvishaha was bragging about the fraud online. Honestly, they care about their business but not much more so I don't know if anything more than the suspension of selling rights will come out of it. I didn't check, is the listing still up?.

  5. I'm on with the 3rd ebay fraud investigator. You guys are fast.
    What's he saying?

The correct response is, 'what are you saying?'

I was saying that I was on the phone trying to report this and passed from one person to the next in their fraud department. I didn't spam the fraud department, I was transferred up the line through various channels until I spoke with a 'higher up' that could ascertain how egregious this was. Because I explained to them how much this could potentially go for and had to walk they through how to get to the 'small type'.

  6. SOOO.... WHAT IS THIS BOOK ABOUT??.?

I've read it a couple of times and I don't understand why the world is like it is or where this story is going. I love Saga, there are a lot of comparisons from a size/scope perspective.... And I can't see it. I need a EoW for dummies!

  7. I read about that toolbag in Canada.....insta-block!!!

I'm sure slabs get destroyed as well, but it takes a bit more impact and injury to accomplish that....it is a slab after all.

In all honesty: there are raws that are packaged so well that I'm afraid of damaging them while unpacking. They're layered in so much bubble wrap and tape that it takes a bomb squad and a surgeon to unearth it.

I've caught myself cursing at the parcel at times...ROFL! Well, I guess that's better than the polar opposite.....the comic hastily thrown into a manilla envelope with "do not bend" written on the package... lol

    Do you recall his name?
