I'm printing out my own covers from now on and will be offering them for $12 per. They likely won't have images from the actual comics but will have kittens hanging from branches with witty sayings like hang in there. It will be my homage to the 90s. As for EoW... In for a penny, in for a pound I suppose. This one I will try to do nuts to bolts on issue 1, just because I like the premise. I'll stick to standard covers for 2 on (famous last words). That said, I won't be buying 29000 of these to flip... And will likely kick myself later. I want enough to get one 9.8+ then moving on.

I get excited to tune in and see what's up, yet find new drama... A bit expected at this point... But underwhelming. I will say the outcome for me has been a greater respect for e.s. - not in a buttkissy way. Because he comes on and speaks his mind and doesn't sugar coat it... Also he says 'fcuk'. Respect. As for the drama, sorry for adding to it.

Right - thanks... Sorry. It's like being told your getting a new bike for your birthday, waiting, and waiting and finding out the week before that you're really getting a toaster. Albeit a pretty badass toaster.

No need to get nasty. The reason I say this is because it was tweeted that there wouldn't be variants. I didn't say I wouldn't read it, I said I wouldn't collect it if there were more variants coming out. This has nothing to do with an ability to spend money, it has to do with exclucivity and honesty-and spending money intelligently. I have a bad flavor left after working to get a good TB, only to find out there were multiple other '1st' prints of NWM including a RRP three months after the release. I honestly think it hurt the long term value of the TB. I was all in actually. Love the art, concept and looking forward to the story... I'm just not looking forward to it like I was... And I'm clearly not alone.

(Footnote - I'm sure Image has a lot of people, a lot smarter than I making decisions... But I do know that variants do effect collectors buying patterns. Fact.)
