  1. Wait, are you suggesting New Super-Man #1 will do numbers in the range of Star Wars #1 which was close to 1 million!?!?! If you are than that would out pace Batman #1 280,000 and Batman Rebirth #1 199,000 released last month by a COMBINED 2.5 times total print run. Don't see anywhere near Star Wars. Hell, Black Panther which was certainly a high spec book came in at 253,000 . You probably just have a few stores that ordered heavier than normal. Not seeing many here in south Florida. Nothing more than Batman #1 in comparison.
  2. They are worth a lot more than what most sellers sold them for . I am sure the buyers will be willing to wait a week in lieu of a refund. The seller only needs to forward the JSC Store e-mail to their buyers to inform them of delay .
  3. No, that is War Machine. Her armor has some sort of antenna on the helmet... atleast that is the way I am seeing it ??
  4. well, it is HER armor that we see RiRi put on at the end of the issue FWIW CGC notes from a recently graded IIM #7 https://www.cgccomics.com/grading/verify-cgc-comic.aspx?cgc-comic-cert=0284800026
  5. They are both WHITE HOT after the news hit!!! Every instance has to be looked at individually. Just because the market has been favoring cameo(any small sighting over the first full appearance) doesn't mean that it will hold true in this circumstance. IIM9 has too many additional factors to not reign supreme. I have a LOT of BOTH so I like the movement regardless. Going to Sizzler tonight boys and girls :-)
  6. The Print Runs for The Vision 4, 5, 6, 7 are all approx 19,000 so, what is happening in the book that is causing #5 to heat up more than #4 or #6 or #7 ? Anybody?
  7. Opps... I was referring to the books that didn't do well. Worded poorly . Sorry
  8. FTFY Come on now , I have sold many a large lot of books to some big time winners including a number of LCS owners
  9. Don't forget about those losers :-) There are far more BUT luckily I haven't had a negative year in.... it's been a longgg time
  10. Its doubtful that anyone loaded up on these books until the last day or two. It now comes down to, "which book will be the one to own ? ". That and the fact that all of the #7s have ugly covers. FWIW I pre-order a minimum of 50 of any book I speculate on... I will say I have more #9's because of #7 with discounts on pre-orders you don;t have to hit on many to cover the losers . Plus you only have to sell so many of the losers at cover to get a big chunk of investment back.
  11. AS I type this the census shows 5 ! #7's graded and 0 #9's s. This is pre-heat of 2 books that have come out in the last few months. So, my comment has no validity. Let's just say the speculators are trying to formulate a "guess" to what is more important while this character is being fleshed out in the books. IF #9A didn't have her Armor on the cover, the Tease on the cover, her full appearance and her putting on that armor maybe #7's cameo would be more interesting to me. Regardless, people reading this should be diversifying into both books. IF she becomes a major player you will be rewarded by having both. The train has not left the station.
  12. I would agree that Miss America Chavez has more potential "currently' than RiRi.
  13. Well, NOTHING lasts forever ! Million plus print runs and holographic covers carried the market for several years in the 90's. It was the norm, it was the expectation... it killed that market. So, while you can give examples of what HAS been the norm, it doesn't mean it will hold true forever. CGC has played a huge role in the secondary market chase and as such it appears the mentioned label in a previous post will drive people away from #7 to #9. Let's be honest here, ignoring investment potential, people SHOULD be picking up #9 if they care about the character.
  14. You lost me at the IIM #7 2nd printing. Isn't it the same cover just a different color for the banner , logo etc. ? A last page cameo vs the characters Armor being front and center on the cover of IIM #9 ( even heralds the new hero without a cool name found inside on the cover). First FULL Appearance AND the first time she dons her Armor is all inside IIM #9 . Like you stated the print runs are virtually the same so all of that really cool stuff going outside and inside of IIM#9 vs a one panel hello (actually a door slam ) in IIM #7 ? Buying the 2nd printing of #7 with the same cover because it is more rare? We will see. I have a LOT of both (more #9's) so whateves :-)
  15. Between issues 7 and 9 one book is selling over cover. Do you know which it is? Look again times are a changing. With the CGC notes stated earlier the BIG shift is coming . good luck with that At the current prices ,for either one , i won't need much luck to be right on BOTH IF Riri takes off :-)

  17. His portrayal of Colonel Stars and Stripes in Kick- 2 was cool
  18. Could be the cover of DC Rebirth Midnight. Only one so far where he's in full costume. So many different choices for firsts for this character. He definitely is shown in a Costume on the cover of DC Rebirth #1 Midnight Cover for the first time. Perhaps when he first appears in the comics in his gear that will be of greater importance?
  19. Nobody CARED about Iron Man or Harley Quinn or Black Panther or .... for the longest time either .
  20. I will venture a guess that CGC will go so far as to state "1st Jonathan Samuel Kent as SUPERBOY"
