Of course I wouldn't pass on paying cover for a book hitting 30 and 40+. I just would be hesitant on paying the secondary price when there is a more desirable book available.

Very true. The listings could end just as quickly. Very few have the ability to sit and hold onto a hot commodity. Most rush to flip, not to say it is wrong to, but IF what we are seeing especially on the Direct Sales side is it many will regret flipping immediately. I wish I had the ASM 678 back I flipped at what "seemed" to be a solid profit at the time ?

9 out of every 10 copies listed so far are for the B&N error edition. I would venture to say most are still unaware there is a difference between the 2. What we are seeing with the retail version flooding feebay is not really happening with the Direct Sales edition because they are certainly not as plentiful. Interesting spec regardless as it is pretty unique... How did it even happen is the backstory I would like to know?

Direct Sales copies "appear" to be in far fewer available numbers than the B&N Retail copies. One would think the flood happening with B&N copies would be happening with the Direct Sales copies IF people had them . Ebay helps facilitate those wanting to flip product.

+1 I personally loaded up on the combo packs for Batman #7. They tend to be afterthought when ordering issues . I ordered 150 batman inc #8 reg and ZERO combo packs d'oh

Yes, there is a picture of her in issue 1.... full appearance in 7. Issue 1 already has a nice price tag associated with it...as an investment #7 is the way to go imo.

The only battle I will participate in must involve mtg. Still regret the cases of Alpha/Beta I flipped through years ago. Good money but today...house buying money :-(
