Have a little patience it'll rise gradually which is better than a spike up followed by spikes downward.

Is this book worth speculating on...again???
So this comic, its retailer variant and rare 2nd print were discussed a while back. Even Larry recommended it in his weekly report after some other online articles mentioned it first. This was due to the possibility that Pepper Pott's Rescue/Iron Maiden armor would appear in Iron Man 3. Since then no one seems to care but with the recent rumor that the J.A.R.V.I.S. ai will become Ultron in Avengers 2, shouldn't this book explode?
If anyone has cared to look, Avengers 55 is selling for huge money overnight on Ebay ( first appearance Ultron ) But if that Ultron is not going to be utilized in the film I would expect the first appearance of the J.A.R.V.I.S. intelligence to significantly climb in value. This first appearance is also in a regular Marvel Universe comic not a Marvel Films adaptation. What do you all think?
I was tipped to buy the 2nd print back in like February-March. At one point they were selling for $20-25. I think I have one left, so I can only hope. Maybe it will bump back up to $10-15 if the word gets out.
That 2nd print is the one to jump on I think. But both versions of that issue are definitely worth a pick up.
Ok so I have one, but what makes it special? is it rare? Is this the first appearance of 'rescue'? Is rescue in the story....

Careful. Covering up the 2nd prints. Worthless.
I saw that listing felt the same way
he does mention it...I think that if he under-reported it was unintentional...

some people recognize a franchise when they see it...

I foresee such chaos and bickering here...it'll be troll paradise...and it costs nothing to block an ebayer ( cept a potential customer )...is it liable if you can't prove what you say?
But to be clear, I did block this ebayer...I mean why not, who needs it...I just hope that it takes a couple of people saying something to make people block...I didn't carefully read the thread jj...who else has had problems with this unsavory character?

Is he from Canada.
There was a thread in CG about some guy in Canada doing something like this.
the guy in Canada is guerrierhabs
he is a scammer, put him on ignore
guerrierhabs is a scammer, do not do business with him on ebay
So are you guys saying gregorysmiller and guerrierhabs on eBay are SCAMMERS?
Like The House of Comics are scammers?
Scammers
Scammers
I know there are other threads that dabble in outing these scammers....BUT it would be good to have an entire thread devoted to just the blocked names so it'd be easy for others to do the same.
Is it worth blocking when users can just change their username?
My understanding is that eBay will modify your blocked user list accordingly. Changing the user name does *not* remove them from your blocked bidder list.
Quick update on the "gregorysmiller" saga...
He must have been feeling generous because he was willing to pay cover price for the book. I said sure, refunded the money to close the case, and sure enough positive feedback left like nothing happened. He followed the same set of actions with another boardie I talked to.
It's probably in your best interest to block him, if you want to avoid the headache.
While I appreciate the info. I feel concerned that someone's name can be tarnished on this board so quickly and without hearing from him at all... can someone else say definitely that they have been the victim of these practices...

ohhhh....no I still don't get it.
Don't cows live in a barn?

I really liked it....I even bought a copy off of da internet for 10 bucks...then I found a copy in a LCS...shoot...
bleeding cool gave it a bump...
tiny print run...
all around goodness...tight writing, really good art.....if it was from Image, it would be speculated on till the cows come home ( what does that mean actually? )

well Jimmy may be right...dead as in 'clone'...it's speculation, if it was sure thing....then it wouldn't be spec...I think I'm gonna pass from buying...I hate TFAW...
What? Clone is just getting started.

I'll send to bleeding cool and see if they want to make hay

I got it from a comic book store who had submitted a re-order, and no one told them it was a second print...

Personally I ship without insurance or tracking...I pack real well, but I take a chance with the guy on the other end taking advantage of me. Hasn't happened yet, and never had damage either, so far it seems worth it...like my own personal insurance program....
That being said, if they buy over 50 bucks I'm gonna track and insure..but otherwise my ebay stuff will slow to a crawl and only the combined shipping crowd would buy from me...
I did get this weird message that charging 20 bucks to ship a clone set was too much, but that seemed to be an auto message....just a little ironic...
ebay isn't the best way to sell your comics....it's the only way ( mostly )
