  1. Agent coulson I see blue lines all over the place, so does that mean that the original pencils are underneath...
  2. That really sucks as it was an incentive variant 1:10 so for them to suddenly have a large stack....
  3. okay cyrptozoic men reads to me like someone who is trying to channel melville but failing....I have met people that like it, but people seemed to like deadwood.... but I don't think the TV exposure is done right now....and with their hollywood positioning how long until we all hear the sweet whispers of Ttttttvvvvv show.... I've personally done what I always do when I'm not sure if I want to sell it....Priced it VERY high... I tried that with Preacher, and I obviously didn't price it high enough...
  4. maybe so but I've had a pretty good month relative to OCT... It's christmas and I think that we are comming in to a big rush... I've been tracking the deaths...and I think it's more a matter of gee are they really dead, and if so how long will they be dead for....with damian being dead all of 5 months and all....... no one knew about until it was out, and no one is sure really what happened......... Still...
  5. how is this cool on this thread.... Can someone PM with mycomicshop auction advice for sellers? I'm not sure the process/fees/etc I agree 100% regarding BIN being the way to go on eBay. I throw in a best offer most times because I tricked myself into thinking that more people look at BIN/obos than straight BINs even though I have zero factual evidence Brad, you can PM me, or call me at 512-240-2802 if you have any questions. There's a lot of info here: mycomicshop consignment info Fees are: 10% for sales up to $300, minimum $5 per item 8% for sales $300-3000 6% sales over $3000 No listing fees or any other costs to you. You can list either as fixed price or in our monthly auction. Commissions are the same for both formats. If fixed price, you control your pricing. Items you list as fixed price are listed simultaneously on our web site and our eBay store. The eBay listings are free to you--we cover the listing fees, and we bump the eBay price up just enough to cancel out the final value fee if it sells on eBay. We only do auctions on our own site, none on eBay. Auctions are indeed riskier than fixed price, but in general stuff in our auctions gets a strong percentage of market price/GPA/retail compared to other auction venues. As others have noted, we have a sizable customer base of buyers that use us but don't look at eBay very often, so sometimes auction prices on our site can go higher than on eBay. Raw books do well through us, because buyers know us and like our grading, versus you listing them yourself on eBay, where buyers tend to distrust the grading from unknown eBay sellers. The process is: - You enter the books you want to consign on our web site (our web site tells you which are eligible for consignment based on expected value) - You start a new consignment transaction and ship us the books. - We scan everything, grade any raw books, and file them to inventory. - As soon as they're filed, we email you. You then use a page on our web site to set prices or assign to auction. You can later change prices, or shift a fixed price book into the next auction, at any time. - We issue payment for most books within about 10 days of the sale, and can either mail you a check or pay via PayPal. I do not think it's cool for you to advertise your service on this thread
  6. I hope this is okay as I posted this in two threads... 2 relevant threads though... http://graphicpolicy.com/2013/11/28/if-a-character-dies-and-nobody-notices-spoilers/ So now any thoughts on whether superman 25 will go up in value....It seems like most people didn't know about it. The people who did where Mehhh... I wonder also now if superboy 17 will be hot...
  7. I went to a shop up here in canada, and I swear the guy couldn't get me out the door fast enough. 'your not going to find what you want here, everything is well picked through, your wasting your time and mine'. I couldn't believe it....how do you get to the point where you turn away customers because you think they aren't going to buy anything?
  8. I am not sure how to do the spoiler feature but we got superman 25 someone dies... uncanny avengers someone dies
  9. Preacher has been rocking the ebay.... I personally sold a #1 and #2 for 175 clams and I think the price is still going up...
  10. seems to be getting hotter...I sold all my individual copies and now I'm watching them sell for more on ebay...sooo... Sets are pretty low priced right now though... It's almost like people don't want to have 66 more comics in their house?
  11. The sets seem to sit there, while the #1s fly out of the ebay 'shelves'....
  12. ultimately i wonder what the first appearance will end up going for. Wizard magazine? DC office memo. Ennis's CAT scan. Ennis's mom's ultrasound Ennis's Dad's nutsack? Ultimately God, which is wierd cuz....
  13. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Preacher-1-1995-NM-/190965868074?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item2c7673e62a And away we go...
  14. Well he did make a mistake, and I am sure he's sorry for it... I really like his articles, gives me an edge...please don't read them, I don't need the competition... Wait what am I saying...I should just join the outraged bandwagon and get him banned so I can be the only one with the power BWWAHAHAHAH Look let's be realistic here, I screwed up when I first started posting here, bet a lot of people did...while the rules make sense, and people SHOULD read about it first... A lot of us have our ebay auctions as tag lines, not sure the noob should know that putting your website where you are selling stuff should go UNDER the tag line... personally I think a gentle reminder is reasonable and move on...
  15. isn't the writer involved in TV -script writing or something...making this a better shot at a TV show?
  16. See the 'joker's daughter' the guy wanted to sell for 90 bucks?
  17. Is he the sketchy guy who keeps trying to sell his purloined graphic novels everywhere?
  18. anyone catching this new character intro in captain marvel 17...yeah cameo city, only get to see her back.... Still fairly small print run, an some contraversy plus an appearance on Cobert report... I know we are in the november slump but this might have some staying power?

  21. get rich from comics? hehehehheh you can only make it revenue neutral if you're lucky.... I only managed to get 2 anyway...
  22. oh shoot and there I went an ordered some... siggghhh
  23. Haha you must live in Vancouver. I went up for a concert and didn't know the area and my buddy got us a hotel on Hastings St. I'm surprised I'm still alive.... I'm guessing you went to the Rickshaw theatre? It's unfortunate because a lot of the best Metal shows happen there, but it's in an awful part of town. I once knew a guy who became a police officer and got assigned that "beat". He promptly quit after finding a severed head sitting in the gutter, all casual, like it was a discarded pop bottle. Greggy, greggy, greggy.....how many times have I told you DON'T leave the evidence laying around like that? It was Johnny I swear!!!
