there's a feeding frenzy on my 3D covers....I had the dial E up for 5 minutes before someone bought it...

Me either my problem is finding time to pack up sales and time to list more. Diversity..... I agree. I have thousands of comics to list on eBay but can't seem to get past the 1,300 mark. Not enough hours in the day..... Thousands...how do you list them all...each must take at least a few minutes to list...

I don't know about the star wars...who here thinks that george lucas is a good writer? I mean didn't they basically have to hijack star wars to make it good? I started reading it then realized that the grass was growing again and went out to watch.....A comic has to be good to have any hope of more then just a flash in the pan uptick in price.... I'm in for zero, all in, the preview looked great....and I think it got underordered....Buzzkill might be good, but I'm usually disapointed by dark horse resell potential. Now Titan books...pretty much everything they do does well on the secondary market...

they don't? Image seems to be the king of late books...it's almost as if they don't expect all their stuff to be popular and they get over-extended.... It's almost as if they wished that nowhere men hadn't blown up...what what we have to have issues every month now?

seriously though I have been there when they open the boxes from diamond and they stuff a rare variant in there with the others to get dinged up...who wants a dinged up variant...not a guy who is a reader and doesn't care about the condition...it's the out and out collector... Rule of thumb, diamond, if the comic is fair market value over 20 bucks it has to have a back and board...

there are a bunch of books that would ordinarily rate highly here....but I think everyone's pocket books are exhausted by the 3d bucks... Some of those titan books might really explode once things calm down with the 3d covers... numbercruncher chronos commandos Ballistic hit infinity great stuff but mostly seem to be ignored by the market...

As we all know...when news breaks comic prices go through the roof....suddenly a million people want something that has a print run of 40,000... So as a betting man, which I am, I think these covers are going to be worth a lot more in the next week or so...I can be wrong, I have been before and I will be again....

I think this is significant...a valuable book has an unintended variant which might be rarer? The difference in paper is very distinctive when you see it up close...

both have a shiny cover...just one the figure is a darker purple...

I wish I knew how to take better pictures of the difference, but the matte pages I think are the rarer....

I just found what I heard existed from James Stokoe... That there where two version of Orc Stain one, one with matte pages and slightly dark cover 'one -eye' and one with 'shiny pages' and a lighter 'one eye' I finally found an example of both....I am hoping the pictures are clear enough to show what I am saying... I have only ever seen this one of the 'matte pages' According to James, those were 'taken away' and replaced with the shinny ones...

I think ghosted is definitely a contender...tight writing... but since it got changed from mini to full series...it's hard to know where they are going to go with this...they catch one ghost and then they have to steel more ghosts?

so I recently went to my LCS and they had a bunch of back issues like 92 and 93 for 20 bucks...which I gleefully and quickly paid, cuz I remember those books costing 60 bucks....I look out on ebay and 20 bucks has become fair market value....so? am I crazy or has the market cooled on walking dead.... I'm hoping it's the market, as I'm at my max dose of anti-psychotics....

Here's what I want to know is it going to keep going up...and it's not 3d..... It should have major value because 1) new potentially cool character with more then just a Cameo first appearance... 2) Tiny print run 3) major speculator interest I think right now it's at 12 dollars....but I think I'm gonna hold onto half of mine cause this could go up up and away....course my luck is basically 'bedlam' on picking comics....

batman the dark knight 23.4 is supposed to introduce the character to us....
