] The first Two 9.8 sales( in a matter of weeks ) is too small a sample size. I think timing of the listing played a factor . will more 9.8 copies show up? Time will tell. I have 1 of the 9.8s in my personal collection. If someone offered me 3k for my 9.8, I wouldn't sell it. Fwiw, I wouldn't sell my Wolverine #1 or xmen 510 sketch for 3k either.

Really glad you like it!! We worked long and hard to make sure she was packaged properly. The last thing we wanted was for her to break in shipping. Same goes for the magnetic connections. We feared that if she took a soft tumble, the magnets would help keep the breakage to a minimum, especially the tail. We're definitely looking at other stautes in the future. -shawn Great news! Exactly . Totally agree. Believe it or not, there are true Campbell collectors out there. Not everyone is a flipper or speculator. Some collectors don't want to sell books despite the profit. Btw. Love that sketchbook.

Black cat #1 is an older book. GOTG released a couple of years ago? The cover art for the black cat is classic JSC. The copies that have sold are probably sitting in personal collections. I haven't seen a 9.8 pop up for sale in months, while it seems like there is always a GOTG 9.8 available on eBay.

Kabuki! My pick is Kabuki and Black Widow #6. Kabuki can still be had for decent price, but the only thing that might hold it back is that it is a non marvel book and is a pretty risque cover. I think the print run is pretty small too. Less than 100? Black Widow #6 is still under $600 in 9.8 I believe. Surprised this book has not blown up considering it's one of his older covers.

2 9.8 sales within the last 3 weeks is a small sample size. Need to see what happens to the census #s for 9.8s . If 9.8s hit the market within the next few weeks, doubt it will replicate the last two sales. However, if we go months or a year without seeing, one possibly. Who knows at this point.

I actually resubbed the 8.5 SS to get cracked and pressed since I was told by the facilitator I used that grader notes indicate it would benefit from one. Same with guardians #4 At this point, I'm keeping the black panther #1 9.8 since I'm OCD. I'm jsc collector first, so the prices going crazy or dropping don't really matter to me. Although, the 510 OA would be nice to add.
