  1. I know a few people that got a multiple copies . One person even offered guaranteed 9.8s.
  2. Missed this post. Holy cow. That is a sweet prelim. Wish it was mine wonder who owns the OA cover?
  3. Thanks for updating! These rankings are always fun and it gives us something to talk about and discuss on the forum (whether boardies agree or disagree).
  4. Totally agree! Why didn't JSC have this built into his agreement/contract ? A big artist , has a tremendous fan following, yet can't get any copies for his site?
  5. Yup, that was my book that I bought in a bulk variant lot about 5 years ago. I had set it aside to get signed by Campbell at some point, and it never happened. I knew it wasn't a 9.8, and you know how most moderns go...if it's not 9.8, it's trash. Forgot I had it until recently, ran across it, pressed it, subbed it onsite at Baltimore...and Voila! Yes, he's just trying to flip the book. More power to him. What he does with it after me ain't my concern. I just wish the results of the MCS sale had been known to me; I would have been less willing to let him talk me down. Your copy sold about 5-10min before the other one. Actually, we don't know that. The MCS listing was simply taken down a half hour after RMA accepted his offer. But RMA's sale is recorded by GPA as the later completed sale, and, regardless , both copies were available for weeks on eBay at the same time. -J. [/quote Maybe the sale of the MCS copy triggered the sale of RMA's copy on eBay? Who knows.

I just wish the results of the MCS sale had been known to me; I would have been less willing to let him talk me down. Gotcha. $1150 is still a very strong price for a 9.6. Too be honest, I don't know how my copy was graded a 9.8. I won't be cracking mine for a signature for sure.
  7. Oh! I didn't know that 9.6 was the same one that recently sold . Didn't notice the serial #s until now . So the guy is trying to just flip the book? Were you the original owner RMA? I thought you were joking
  8. I prefer the regular color statue. Anyone know if we are getting an Alana or Markk statue? I believe Ghus may be coming first though Ghus would be amazing!
  9. BTW. Anyone going to NYCC? Can anyone confirm if campbell is sketching? I will pay someone if they can get a sketch for me =)
  10. Thanks! The MCS 9.6 sold about 20 min after this one also. Hey, great, someone got a deal from me! What did the MCS copy sell for? Didn't know there was an MCS copy. There is another 9.6 on eBay now. Copies have been popping up but no 9.8s. That's MY copy, that I just sold to him, that he talked me down to $1150. Gotta love it!

  12. I always order from his site. They package it well and they are usually NM copies .

  14. browsing through completed listings and noticed that a black panther sketch 9.6 sold for $1,150. Not too shabby for a 9.6 http://www.ebay.com/itm/201672658384?rmvSB=true
  15. Hopefully he has some of these left from LaMole to put up on his site... I'm not paying $100 bucks on eBay for a $10 book. .. I'll be waiting it out on this guy... Good luck, people are already paying $150 for not even NM copies at ebay.. $150 $150 Don't you have a raw copy for sale on the boards for $75? Seems like a good deal if people are already paying $150 for it on ebay. I am waiting for this book to be $25. P.S. I do like the cover. Way better than all the other covers he's been putting out lately.
  16. The covers are really nice for that catwoman run, but for the most part you can get them for cheap and at a reasonable price. Well at least compared to AH variant covers.
  17. Just order it directly online from skybound. http://store.skybound.com/collections/skybound/products/saga-lying-cat-statue
  18. I hope I am wrong ( I have a 9.8) But compared to all the big JSC books out there. This book has the highest graded copies. Here are the counts I posted in the JSC appreciation thread for his "big" books (books that sell for over 1k) 9.8 count and total overall graded for that particular book. Census numbers are not the end all for sure. As long as supply exceeds demand, it will command big $. Wolverine #1 Graded 9.8 : 55 copies Total Graded:144 Siege #3 Graded 9.8: 64 copies Total Graded:110 Uncanny Xmen 510 Partial Sketch Graded 9.8 : 10 copies Total Graded: 18 Black Panther Partial Sketch Graded 9.8 : 6 copies Total Graded: 10 Black Cat #1 Graded 9.8 : 52 copies Total Graded: 64
  19. Sadly, I don't think this book will benefit from a movie. There have been multiple iterations of successful wolverine movies.
  20. $2,700 for a 9.6? Thats just the asking price. I'll go out on a limb and say it'll never sell for that much in a 9.6 before the year....2020??? Jerome In terms of ceiling for this book, I don't think this particular book will reach beyond 4k. IMO. Speaking for 9.8 blues... There are too many copies in 9.8 for 9.6s to go for $2600. I feel the same way about the siege 3 cover.
