  1. Maybe the remark giveaway will apple to those that ordered signed and non signed copies? Let's hope we get lucky!
  2. Thanks Chris! Been waiting for details about it. Happy holidays bro
  3. Strong offer for an SS. Jerome's copy was a blue if I remember.
  4. Tuesday or Wednesday we'll know when a certain retailer claims to have half a case of the "only" case that got out http://www.bleedingcool.com/2016/12/23/misprinted-saga-41-will-ship-to-some-stores-image-asks-retailers-to-destroy-them/ I like the error version! I have a cgc 9.8 subscription . Wonder if my guy can get me both versions Is there any news on when the next hardcover is coming out ? Sdcc 2017?
  5. Look forward to seeing the sold price on ebay (shrug)i didnt sell it... are you being a there champ...? Really man? Not being a . Really wanted to see the sold price/offer . I have been following the sales since I've been thinking about selling mine I've sold two copies already. Also, you posted about the offer being a "nice" offer on a forum. Didn't you expect people on the forums to be curious? It's fine you don't want to share. I get it. I don't really care if you do. Feel free to put me on your ignore list. I'll do the same.
  6. Haven't been paying attention to the lower grade sales as well. Seems pretty strong .
  7. I'm surprised that Marvel didn't pick a female host for Venom this time around. Kinda surprised as well. It would have a been an interesting story line if Venom snagged Black Cat. And the potential cheesecake variant covers would have been glorious. Should've went with a black cat or mary jane female venom. Not sure if this will retain its $200 price tag.
  8. Thanks for sharing the info! Great deal on the set, signed or not!
  9. Sold for almost 37 000$.....big difference from the last 4 6.5's that sold for 50 000$ to 52 000$. And the CGC 4.0 sold for 15 000$. Link: http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=685108 I guess I am the only one surprised that the 4.0 only went for 15K.
  10. Thanks CBT. Those books used to belong to Court. I believe he sold them all. The Saga RRP is still my favorite modern covers. Epic cover art IMO. Saga is still standing after its initial release and the prices have pretty much maintained for #1 and the RRP . People covet this book because they are fans of the series .
  11. Sketches are another story and price can be skewed based on the "quality" of the sketch. I know Fiona works entirely in digital so there is no saga OA. Next best thing is a sketch from her.
  12. Almost 50 of those were done by one group of people (all 2xSS), and I believe they are still selling them 1 at a time, every so often making one available. So while 72 might exist, they are very widely spread out, being carefully sold one at a time, and if they still have a bunch, they only trickle them out slowly. This is still one of my favorite pics
  13. Never get tired seeing JSC sketches! Prefer his sketches over his variants That sue storm is so nice.
  14. exactly . you can spot JSC art easily. That cover is not his art work. Is this the cover that someone called horrible ? I had the chance to preorder for $200 , but passed since it was on the higher side. Hard for me to make a purchase for that much on a modern without seeing the art.
  15. So does anyone have a pic of this? I'd like to see how horrible it is.
  16. I havent seen an image of the cover. If anyone has one, please put it !
  17. Woah, bummer you we're beat out for that savage land piece. I thought the riri cover would've sold for more given the "controversy".
  18. Pound for Pound from a quality bang for the buck perspective, buying original published artwork seems to be a better buy both as a fan and as an investment compared to the remarks. Sure, a published cover starts at $5k, generally navigates the $6-8k range, and with the more popular characters can go for $10-15k+, but when you look at a "remark" with a simple head sketch, regardless of CGC grading, personally I'd rather have one quality cover over 10-20 quantity remarks, as a collector - - as well as from a long term perspective. He can crank out more and more sketches and remarks of varied detail and quality, but with published art it's iconic and recognizable with greater prestige as that one of a kind grail. So, in a way, when you look at the remarks and sketches, if they're truly selling for those $1-2k prices, his published artwork might indeed be the true steal of a deal today and could be underpriced in comparison, and maybe should be priced starting at least at $10k and averaging $20k Most of his marvel art now starts at least in the 10-15 range for minor characters. If it's spider man it starts at 20. If it's a team shot of characters expect to pay more. The savage land prints oa from sdcc this year sold at over 50 for the 3. Sold as set only. The Mary Jane iron spider cover was 25 The recent champions 1 cover is currently 18 The unpublished riri was 12 The dark knight cover was 20 The Harley Quinn cover was 20 The Spider-Man cover set from midtown was over 60 - MJ, Villians, Black Cat. Sold as set only. Spidergwen 1 was 18/rupps variant was 12 So anything popular and marvel/DC in the 6-10 range should be bought up fast. (Not x-factor/nova) Some of these prices are the savage land piece has amazing art. thanks for sharing the info Doug. Interesting to see these OA numbers
  19. Yeah, if published covers (the ones I care about) were 5k, I would totally by those.
