  1. I believe you're right, only the cover with the O was ever printed... they never did the M, I, or T. As for NWM, why does it feel like it's taking forever for issue #5 to drop Because it is The release has been pushed back a few times.
  2. Received on 4/4 Stayed on received until I called on the 23rd and asked what the hold up was. It's on track to arrive to me tomorrow. So in two days it went from received to shipped/safe. Still past the TATs, but at least they're coming tomorrow.
  3. GLWTBaby! +1 +2 You need any cigars? +3
  4. My Modern FT was received on April 4, and it's only "Scheduled for Grading." I wonder why yours is stuck there? I would have thought a 4/4 receive date would have been shipped/safe already. Apparently, they told me mine was placed in the regular track box, but when I asked for compensation, they said there would be none because my invoice was still within the estimated TATs, which it is not. The current and estimated TATs listed are 10 days. Did they laugh at you too? Probably on the other side of the computer screen. That was a response to the e-mail I sent right before I decided to call instead. On the phone, the rep told me my subs were placed in the wrong box (which they had been for 12 business days), but the person who responded to my e-mail said mine was still within the estimated time frame. So they shipped out within 10 business days as it says on their website? Wow, I just got an e-mail notification, and my submission has already been marked as shipped/safe. But, no, it was NOT within 10 business days.

  8. Looks like somebody else did too with a 1 cent starting bid. I hate when that happens.
  9. My submission finally changed to "Scheduled for Grading." I asked if there was a way to be compensated for their mistake of placing my comics in the wrong submission box, and the reply was that my submission was still within the current TATs, which is NOT true. The current TATs is 10 days, and they received my submission on the 3rd. So that's not within the time frame.
  10. I just called. She said it was still in the "safe," and it should already be with the graders. She said it must have gotten put in the wrong "box" with regular submissions by mistake. So you guys were on the right track there...too bad I won't be compensated for their mistake. On another note, the rep I spoke with was very nice.
  11. You might want to give them a call. If it's FT, they should have been verified already. Yeah. Call them. They'll laugh at you. My thoughts exactly. I wonder if it would even help. Nothing you want in life comes without trying. I sent them an e-mail. If I don't get a timely response, I'll call. This is disappointing.

  13. Just pay $5 more and add it to your collection.
  14. Received - 4/03 Still Received - 4/22 My first Modern FT submission sucks so far...
  15. Captain's Comics? That's my LCS! Yeah, for some reason they didn't get any of the second issue or the second print of the first. They are pretty erratic with their Image stock Yeah! That's the one I went to. I've never been to it, but my girlfriend's family recently moved here, so I came to visit. It was really nice. I LOVED the ASM #1 they had in the case...first time I've ever seen one in person
  16. One can hope.......but with a revival knock off show and now RR show announced, its not looking good for a Revival Show...... On the Contrary, I think this is a big Plus for Revival... Really? How so? IMO, Hulk means it can be good for Revival because other TV outlets will want to pick it up seeing the similar shows on competing outlets.
  17. Went to a comic shop in Charleston, SC today. They had two #1s left, and I got them both at cover
  18. you're probably right. I really liked this issue. There was a lot of stuff happening, and it's making me anxious for the next. The pace is picking up.
  19. How is this on the third page??? This week's issue was awesome!
  20. I would agree with a West Coast, that's a good idea as this does sound like growing pains in business. I have empathy & sympathy for those at CGC. I've only ever had great experiences with them. Despite a couple of past mistakes, they've always been very polite with me and taken great care of me. I think as a society we're quick to complain. I know I was just complaining with Jeff about my books as well. But in all seriousness, these are first world problems. Yes we pay for a service, and yes we've paid extra for "fast-track", but I want to make sure they do a great job on the grading/encapsulation and not just rush through books, both as a buyer and seller. Technically fast track is 1/2 of the current TAT. So 120 days would really be 60 if we went by the letter of the law. Huh? One has nothing to do with the other. Don't talk start talking crazy and giving them ideas. It's on the CGC form If that's the rule they go by, then the site shouldn't state a 10-day TAT for Modern FT. That's the only problem I have with all of this. If they state a 10-day TAT, and I pay extra for it, I should get what I paid for. If they're getting behind, then they shouldn't state a 10-day TAT when you go to submit your books.
