The more I think about this, the madder I get. Today is the 10th business day on my Modern FT, and the two books are still marked as received (on April 3). I haven't been waiting as long as others have, but it makes me mad nonetheless. The current time shouldn't be listed as 10 days when clearly it is not. I also wondered about a refund like you did, but I see they don't give a . I'm definitely NOT renewing my subscription after the year is up. I know they won't care, but this is ridiculous.

I think so. Midtown has the TPB for a very affordable $6.99. I think word of mouth will cause a lot of people to pick this up. I wish I had a bunch because hot is going to become hotter. The TPB's out? No. I'm pretty sure several pages back, E.S. said after they finished the first arc, it would be a month break, then the TPB. I'm not 100% positive, but it was something along those lines.

Considering how many SS subs CGC gets, that's just not realistic. Any why should convention subs be singled out here? It's silly to blame the TAT slowdowns on just convention subs - CGC has seen an increase of submissions across this board which is causing the slowdown. If anything, they should stop accepting mail-in books and only accept convention subs till the backlog has been cleared ... I highly disagree with this statement. Why should I pay $100 for CGC's services, and then not be able to submit books just because I don't go to conventions?!?!

Uh... wut? No matter how slow, PGX cannot look better than CGC... For TNITK - CGC= professional company out of Sarasota, FL PGX= fly-by-night "company" out of some guys' moms garage. Seriously. -slym Does it really matter when you're just flipping the books? I've never submitted or bought a PGX but I can see the advantage of using them for flipping. Time is money. By the time a flipper gets a book back from CGC, money can definately be lost. Hot books don't stay hot forever. Considering the market value for PGX books is about the same as raw books, I can't +1 - I'd rather flip raws

WTF happened to the times improving? Improving at the cost of shoving FT behind? Unbelievable. I agree. If the Modern FT has the current turnaround listed as 10 days, that's what it should be. I submitted my first modern FTs, and CGC received them April 3. My submissions still say "Received." Technically, they have until Wednesday until it's past the 10-day turnaround mark.

I'm debating whether to grade mine. I'm sure there will be less of them in 9.8 than the regular print.

Nah give them a call. They will do a free re-holder on their mistake. You just have to pay for the Medium Flat Rate Box/Insurance to send it back. I had to send my Peter Panzerfaust 9's back in because they came back Peter Parker #9's . See to me, THAT is the problem +1. I was thinking the same thing. If it's CGC's mistake, why should the submitter have to pay even more than he would have if CGC would have gotten it right like they were supposed to.

If they were received on 4/03, it hasn't been 10 business days yet. I was going to say the same thing. This thread has now kinda turned into posting every little detail rather than useful information. Posting in this thread is truly only warranted when the estimated grading time is not met. All of my FT invoices were graded well within the estimated grading range. Ah yes, I wasn't thinking about weekends. So I guess today is the 7th business day then.

Is this modern fast-tracked? Ryan, yes, they're modern fast track. It's my first time using the fast track submission because when I first became a member, I did regular, and it took about 120 days.

I only got 7 regular covers...I had placed a pre-order for 4 FP variants, but cancelled because I didn't think the shipping would be worth it. Luckily, I snagged three on ebay for $20 apiece shipped.

MAJOR differences between this and Saga: RRP no other variants for #1 Broads LOVE Saga It depends on which broads you ask. Everyone I know personally, including "broads," are way turned off by the content of Saga. I'm sure there are just as many who don't read Saga because of the content than those that do. EoW doesn't have anything that would turn off readers like Saga does. That could be a huge group of potential readers that Saga will never reach. We will agree to disagree, as ive personally seen three separate times a female come into the LCS and ask where the Saga back issues were located. Most broads are not turned off by real life events (sex, swearing), but maybe thats more of about where i love (New York) i just see the EoW crowd more likely to be fans of Preacher then Y The Last Man Yeah, probably a lot due to location. I live in NC.
