Modern FT - Shipped/Safe 5/29 13 Business Days. Easily the quickest sub I've ever had returned. 12 biz days. Memorial day didn't count. Since FT is supposed to be 10 biz days, I'm sorry your submission was late. Has it actually shipped, i.e., do you have a tracking number? Forgot about Memorial Day. Yes, I got an e-mail today saying it was shipped, along with a tracking number.

I love Jenny's covers too, but I think S.Y. taking over just one cover is a welcome thing. I like his art a lot and besides, Jenny deserves a break. I think it was a good call to have him do this cover if the issue will focus on Cooper's p.o.v. I'm pretty sure I read that they're trying to ease S.Y. into Revival until he takes over the covers full-time. That's not funny! I basically just for a second there!

Not to be snarky but do you have any other option but to wait, regardless of turn around time? I dont mind waiting...that wasnt my complaint... Is 2 months a typcial fast track service? I imagine CGC turn around times will go from 2 to 3 months Fast TRack and CGC is getting their money and we are not getting the service... Its my fault because I work in NY Stock Exchange and i have to adhere to a trade date and 3 days later you settle or you can go into penalty... Im just happy to get them whenever but i paid to get them in what i was told of 20 Business days. May 29th would be 60 calendar days.... Gotcha. Reading this thread from beginning to end would probably be an eye opening experience for you if this is your first submission. I don't submit often, and there are other guys that can probably give you a better detailed assumption of what's probably going on. My guess is that more people are fast tracking because of how far behind regular submissions got last year, and therefore CGC is having trouble keeping up with the fast track workload. Who told you 20 business days? From what I gather CGC only gives that number as an estimate. That number also doesn't factor in holidays, days at shows, etc. Could be wrong but I think I've read on here where that number also doesn't take into consideration encapsulation and shipping. Did you complain when you called? I know what you mean about CGC's "estimate." That's what I have a problem with, though. They list two different TATs on their site for each category. There is an "Estimated" TAT and a "Current" TAT. The current TATs were still listed as 10 days for Modern FT and 20 for Standard FT. The estimate shouldn't matter if they have "current" TATs listed. If not, I think they need to update the current TATs to what they actually are.

I just finished reading #5, and it kept its place as my favorite Modern. I can't wait for the next issue!

Everyone (including myself) who has given Saga a try pretty much hated it. I don't personally know anyone who reads it or tried and liked it. IMO, Saga can turn off a whole bunch of potential readers with its content. EoW on the other hand doesn't have anything to really turn someone off.

Has a Saga RRP 9.8 slab ever sold on eBay for less than $300? I respect your opinion, but I think that your data points are accurate for NM raw copies and not graded copies. Also, I doubt the first sale will have much of an impact on the long term price of this book. With the saga RRP, the first 9.8 slabs sold for $300 in Dre's sales thread during C2E2 in 2012. Some PP raws went for over $200 during C2E2 this year. I don't think that the price point is so out of line with the comps. If you have more applicable comps, that would be interesting. I agree with BeerThirty. I think raws might be $150, but no way a 9.8 goes that low anytime soon, if at all.

I remember a discussion about LCSs dropping back on NWM orders. I went to the LCS I frequented in college today and asked about NWM. He said they can't keep them on the shelves; even subsequent prints get snatched up as soon as they put them out. He said he actually had to up his order.

I noticed the same thing on a CGC slab I recently purchased. I'm curios to see how it turns out.

Nice! I was watching a few that seemed to be ending higher. The one before that was about $71, I believe.
