Venom #2 second print Agreed. I had the first print on my wall at Heroes and had NUMEROUS people ask me for the second. I've never actually seen one in person. Tough book and BEAUTIFUL too ! Trying to get them out of other collectors hands is damn near impossible... for good reason ! Which Venom... I'm guessing the 2011 series with the red background :shrug: . I couldn't find any listed on eBay or other sites. I could be wrong, though.

It must be certain stores. I've gone to some that have the $7.99 price tag, but I ALWAYS stop by the one that doesn't.

There's a BAM that I go to and buy the Fried Pie variants. They never have the $7.99 price tag on the book, so whenever I go to pay, they can't find it listed in their system. Usually they sell them to me for the $2.99 or $3.99 price tag. Sometimes they just find something, enter it, and sell it for less than cover .

What information do you need? The guy said that a shop sold them, then he said he was being ripped off, then he said it was his roommate/friend making the covers so they could sell for profit. I'm just wondering how this is a rush without all the information. Did you read the thread before it was scrubbed? I didn't. What I read was responses in a vacuum, no indication of what was said to elicit those responses. I read people saying both major grading houses missed the books they graded, then people saying they may be legit. All I'm saying is personally, I haven't seen enough actual evidence to vote. Your mileage may vary. Yeah, I was keeping up with it while it was unfolding. I had the ready after I saw the seller's first response in the thread.

I think what he is saying is that the "voters" need to have a definition of what the burden of proof is in order to determine whether one should vote yes or no in these situations. In this case, if the burden of proof was 70% (just an example), the rest of us should think about what munkalunk did, review the information that came out, and then determine if that reaches the burden of proof for the HOS.

Being this is the second time you asked without a response I don't think really are that enthused about ASM right now. What happened to the original Electro that they need a new one? Yeah, the other thread has been getting no responses. I have no idea why they'd need a new Electro. I remember several issues back, he was still involved, but I can't seem to remember what happened to him.

This is pretty cool. Doesn't take up too much space and the carper is cool. That is awesome! I'm going to do something like that some day. Do you guys think these shelves would be okay for displaying raw books? The surface wouldn't be as wide, but I didn't know if it would cause a bend on raw books.
