  1. Why would you cancel? There were higher feedback bids, and it looks like one guy with zero feedback put in a max of $44. You beat him with your bid and now you cancelled. The zero-feedback bidder only has 27% activity with the seller and actually won an auction from another seller. Within the past week, I've had three people with zero feedback buy books from me. Everybody starts somewhere. In my opinion, you just made this seller (with over 700 positive feedback) lose a sale for his book.
  2. Looks like the Walking Dead #132 is consistently selling in the $15-25 range here lately while #138 is around $5-12 give or take. I thought #138 would take off, but for right now, #132 seems to be the book. I wonder how long that will last  . http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=walking%20dead%20132&LH_Complete=1&rt=nc&_trksid=p2045573.m1684 http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=walking+dead+13&LH_Complete=1&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.TRS0&_nkw=walking+dead+138&_sacat=0
  3. good to hear, I hope the CGC 9.8 prices start creeping up consistently over $100. I just have 1 so don't want to sell too cheap I'm in the same boat.
  4. The Sinister Six would be cool down the line, but they're too much for the new teenage Peter Parker to handle just starting off.
  5. Terrible Doc Ock? I'll have to disagree with that one. The first two ASM with Tobey Maguire were great.
  6. Thanks for the info. Definitely blocking.
  7. Such a good issue. I can't wait to see where this goes.
  8. The shop I went to was already sold out of Batman Superman...
  9. Scorpion would be cool, but they need to wait until I get a copy of ASM 20 for my collection.
  10. you people drained Midtown's mighty reserves. still some left at TFAW though... Edit: went from 63 to 28 copies soon after I posted TFAW had 154 I picked up 5 copies. I don't think I've ever regretted buying multiples of TWD Edit: Midtown and TFAW both sold out. I might pick up a couple more tomorrow at the LCS for one reader at least.

  12. Because I am buying so many, it will be a bust Haha...I'm just asking because I'd feel weird taking every available copy to the counter  .
  13. How many copies are too many copies to buy off the shelf at an LCS?
  14. Did rip67vdub disappear? Wish someone knew the seller so we could get his side.
  15. Every time I've been to Andy's shop he NEVER has Silver Age books (or anything decent at all) so this report REALLY surprises me. The only ones I found were in the newly acquired stock, so maybe it was just this once. The oldest issues I found were ASM #58 (which I would've bought, but the bottom cover was cut out for a coupon) and X-Men #65.
  16. Power Comics? Brian is a board member here. He runs a GREAT shop. Player's Choice. I don't believe I've heard of Power Comics. The only place I usually go when I'm in town is Apocalypse Comics and Player's Choice. I've been to a third called Coastal Comics, but that was a couple years ago. I'll have to look up Power Comics next time!
