  1. No shops around here got the Thanos #13 1:25 variant or else I would've grabbed it, it's one of those series that just a few shop regulars were reading during Lemire's run so I'm guessing that even with Infinity War on the horizon, nobody went heavy on it. They all finally caught on and went big on the 2nd and 3rd printings but still not so much with the 1st prints of the entire run at all, not even the last 2 issues when the series was established as a hit. Point being, the lenticular will slowly rise in price, (currently $50-$60 in 9.8 which isn't bad) people are going to want complete sets because it's one of the few bright spots from Marvel in the last decade
  2. Detective 880 Wolverine Origins 10 Transmetropolitan 1 Thanos 13
  3. They finally went and made the comic as boring as the tv show. Without Negan I have no use for either
  4. There's this thing called ebay, it has a search feature. Perhaps you heard of it?
  5. Picked these up yesterday for $3 each. Not too shabby
  6. Seems to be, perhaps the Factor X is easier to find in the cheapo bins. I've gotten 6 or 7 of them in the last week but only managed 1 copy of X-Force 82. 5 copies of New Mutants #8 as well
  7. Those were the books of the week like 2 weeks ago. Now it's X-Force 82
  8. Moon Girl #28 While everyone is having a fire sale and dumping off their copies on ebay, this book will take off big time when the next Infinity comic series comes out in Summer. Omnipotentis (what a stupid name) is featured in the preview. Crazy low print run at around 7,000 copies
  9. Just that the movie release was pushed back a year, allegedly because "it wasn't scary enough"
  10. Because of New Mutants 8 and X-Force 116 heating up, expect to see the other issues from those runs get hoarded because who knows which characters will be in the next Deadpool / X-Force movie, or even the NM movie for that matter since they;ve gone to reshoots. I'm betting on Dead Girl and have been grabbing X-Force 125 / 126 out of dollar bins like a maniac
  11. If you know what they go for and like the book, buy one. Seriously, this is what the boards have come to anymore SMH
  12. ^^THIS! Why would anyone in their right mind trust Warner /DC to not screw this up given their horrible track record?
  13. It'd be pretty funny given all the hype if Marvel kills him off in ASM #800
  14. Dark Days The Casting #1, last page cameo, it's not an ad. You may wanna go back and read it. 2 months before Metal #2 and Teen Titans #12
  15. The names of the characters and there was a church?
  16. If you look at the 1st appearances of characters who were introduced on the show in the last few years it's been a steady tick downward. The most recent CGC 9.8 ebay sales: 92 Jesus $95 98 Dwight $65 100 2nd Print Negan $90 (ouch!) 108 Ezekiel $70 not to mention 127($45) and 132 ($30) Point being that anyone who makes their debut on the TV show, it will be a character who was introduced in the comic Post All Out War, i.e. everyone bought multiple copies, sometime as many as 10, 20 or 30. I hate to admit it but there's very little money to be made with 1st apps unless the show goes balls out insane with the Whisperers / Alpha / Beta / Lydia and even then that's a huge "if."
  17. FlyingDonut: Idk man, Andrew Lincoln deserved an Emmy last season just for the snot bubble
  18. It's the next "hot" modern issue that everyone wants to have multiple copies of but with so most shops ordering just for folks who have it on their pull list, it may not be so easy. Having said that, I found a few on the racks yesterday after hitting up 3 shops in search of ASM variants.
  19. #1- the tv show sucks #2 -the 66 issues and one-shots have been around long enough that anyone who wanted to complete their collection had ample time to do so #3 - fans of the show who weren't already comic collectors will seek out the TPBs #4 - Walking Dead will be suffering a similar fate soon enough
  20. Watching BP on my firestick since I don't really have an interest in paying to see it in the theatres. Well, I'm 45 minutes into it and here I am on here. God, this movie is boring as Hell
  21. $7 is "hot"? or did you mean hot as in "she looks hot?"
  22. Jeff Lemire writing The Sentry, count me in for that. If it's even half as good as his Moon Knight and Thanos runs, it'll be worth the $4 or $5 every issue
  23. It's like how The NHL thought for many years "The Olympics will attract new viewers to our regular season games" but they never did
  24. Supposedly Cates' Thanos series is ending with issue 18 with an annual to follow shortly after, not "officially confirmed" but no issue is solicited for May. Marvel has an actual hit series for once that wasn't hyped up as an all-new race/gender swap reboot and they can't see it in front of their faces. But something like Moon Girl which sells around 7,000 copies will still be on the racks monthly no doubt.. SMH
