  1. I suspect so, as well. But, we may be wrong...these days, who knows, right?!
  2. How about this one...from a young Gary Arlington, I presume.. .. Not an EC...here's the book:
  3. No, I didn't go after any of them...didn't want to pay the "hype premium." I'll probably try to pick one up on the secondary market one of these days, if there's ever one at the right price...
  4. After not really buying much last year, I just brought in what's sure to be my biggest upgrade haul of 2022 !! It's extra special, because the books come from one of my dearest collecting buddies of all time The International Comics #4 used to be my copy, then I downgraded (bad decision ) - happy to bring the old copy back home after a few years away . As far as I know, the TFTC #33 (which happens to be the Northford copy) is my first "Dallas Stephens" book (a collection that Chuck R. marketed back in the early 2000s). Excuse, me...I need to go sell some books now ....
  5. As far as I know, "Educational Comics" published 8 promo books (all happen to be from the Reddy Kilowatt line) between 1956-1960 (inclusive), and that 1960 book that Hap (and I) posted up there is indeed the last one (and the only one from 1960).
  6. As an aside, that book (1960) is a reprint of this 1956 version (notice the dates down in the indicia):
  7. OK, I think that's truly it for this thread...if you bought something, thanks! I'll send you a "wrap-up" PM tomorrow. If you didn't buy something, there's still time to rectify that
  8. Captain Marvel Jr. #11, FN- 5.5, $245 bit of schmutz on the upper right bc; bit of tearing around the staple; some pencil markings in the "C" on the fc that someone has tried to erase with moderate success; sm. Color fleck urfc; few small chips out of the spine here and there - still very solid
  9. Target Comics V1 #8, FR/GD 1.5, $425 SOLD a large portion of the spine is obliterated, although by some miracle both staples are still technically attached; otherwise sweet
  10. Crack Comics #9 SOLD 2" upper spine split; some pencil writing on the bc; also, someone's been monkeying around with this one...bottom staple detached, and there's a 5-6" piece of tape on the interior cover spine that I'm assuming is patching a long lower spine split; couple small pieces of tape along leading edge interior bc I don't see any other restoration, but I wouldn't bet my house on it...under the presumption that there isn't any other resto, and it's just tape covering up splits and tears, I'm going to just grade it as if the tape isn't there...which I guess would put it at a FR/GD 1.5 because of long spine splits and bottom staple detached ...it looks awesome in the mylar! How about $125 ?
  11. That's all I have teed up for now...I'll dig through the boxes and see if I can come up with a couple/few more to add in here
  12. Tender Love Stories #1, VG 4.0, $20 couple crinkles/creases on a few interior pages; general cover wear; reading creasing next to spine

  14. Star Spangled Comics #46, VG/FN 5.0, $125 few smudges bc; three-quarter-inch horiz tear bc; bit of paper loss lrfc; light tan pages; tanning on interior covers
  15. Spy Hunters #17, VG 4.0, $20 sm moisture stain lower spine; comprehensive wear; half-inch tear top edge fc; cb creasing lrfc
  16. Real Screen Comics #31, VG 4.0, $20 general wear; slight faded strip leading edge fc; half-inch horiz. Tear leading edge fc; centerfold detached top staple
