Great tribute and video Jeff. RIP Lamont.
I'm curious if there are any other collectors of these original collections still around. I know we are still lucky to share this space with Marty Mann. Anyone else?

Congrats on the #2. Was watching it intending to bid but missed the end time and I think it was a pretty great steal, even with the issues. Nice work!

Nice peds! None for me but I'm happy to own Jon Berk's Planet 1 and also I've got a couple Ray Miller collection copies that feature his distinctive amateur restoration, which I find endearing (note the recreated January by the logo on 22 that is nonetheless misspelled). I've also got a copy from the "More Fun Collection" with a certificate but I'm not certain what that even is.

Great work from Electricmastro putting all these together! What a pleasure to look over. So much great talent hiding in these old pages...

Another nice More Fun result with $3,459 for a vg-ish raw #60.

I was reviewing this book from the collection that I got as a gift from Tyler. I was inspecting the book today for as I picked up a neat piece to go along with the book I realize that this book is an eldon. Which made me fall in love with the book even more. I'm just greatful to have a friend like Tyler that loves fight, jungles and rangers like I do. Here are pictures
Wonderful to see, here is my Eldon 22. In better shape than yours, alas, and you wonder how Eldon kept one so pristine and the other so rough. Signature in the exact same spot in bottom of the G.

Don't know if anyone was watching or bidding on ebay a week or so ago but actually had two separate Planet 2 raws selling ending 4 days apart.
One in good plus and the other about fine, achieved decent prices esp for raws. Hope someone had luck on these sweet books. The one seller had nice copies of 18 and 22 as well, with strong prices. The 22 seemed like a nice deal for the grade.

I love this cover too. So great seeing everyone's books. Wish mine had better oranges though... Also added my old beater copy, now residing with a good friend.
