You'd block me then. I let ever seller I purchase something off eBay know that. I think our postman takes great joy in bending and/or crushing any packs that has "Do not bend" written on it. If it doesn't get extra cardboard inside they ALWAYS arrive bent. My way of heading the issue off so the seller gets a heads-up on my situation. Would you rather I not say anything and have to return the book or original art? Time for you to address your problem. A call to the supervisor or open a PO box. You've never had an issue with a letter carrier. Our carrier has enough seniority that he is untouchable in their system. The Supervisor advised me of that. Yep. I would never complain about a letter carrier. I heard of one person who kept complaining and they put him on the do not deliver list. He had to go to the post office to pick up his mail. They are untouchable. I play the bribe game- treat that son of a gun like royalty and tip him to the max at Christmas time, and he'll bend some rules here and there (like never making me do a pickup request with a Prepaid label) It's the same mentality for Halloween- give King-Size candy bars to make sure that the house isn't egged or toilet-papered ALLLLL year long.

I just had a $350 offer on eBay for a Divinity 3 LaRosa Variant CGC 9.8. I listed it at $400 with no expectation that I would get any love, just to test the market. This book is officially BLOWING up.

I just got two Rai 0 back in 9.8 from CGC today and neither one was denoted Glossy or Matte. That's pretty annoying. I suppose there's no way to tell now?

Dude! Just use dcbs.com or midtown!! You'll get everything you want including any variants if you order early enough. I got 3 copies of geomancer on the way. If they are in good shape I'll PM you and sell you one for cheaper than eBay.

I'd say there's a lack in general of key Valiant slabs. I wonder how long until that changes

Great point- I have a truckload of EW 4, Rai 0, Bloodshot 6, and Archer and Armstrong 0 at CGC as we speak. I've been pleasantly surprised at the lack of graded copies

Joe is a great dude- turned an ugly ASM 122 into a eye-catcher. His breakdowns are detailed and precise, and I couldn't imagine the book looking any better than it does at this moment. I will absolutely be using his services again. Couldn't ask for a better transaction!

This book is essentially a mega key in the Batman mythos. Some day I will write up a lengthy post about how important this book is. It also isn't hurting it any that is the origin of Deathstroke. Finally the black cover does make it tougher than average to find in very high grade compared to many other CA books. (Only 50 or so new 9.8 have popped up on the census since it became a hot book mid 2013.) And continues to climb. Direct edition 9.8s are now $400 a pop With no BINs available to hold the bidding back I would not be surprised to see the copies up now break $500. I Just won the last 9.8 on ebay The bidding stalled at $410 I have no clue what kind it is the barcode is cut off in the pic. All I know is it's a 9.8 WP copy and thats what I wanted. I love that version! Seeing it in person is the only way to put in perspective how actually small it is!

I found myself going back to the well of Mike for yet ANOTHER slab purchase. I thought to myself "why would I buy from him again". And then I thought, "because he's the best seller on the boards, insufficiently_thoughtful_person!!" Love Mike. I will never ever ever second guess a purchase with him. Cheers!

I am a completely unbiased observer (as I have no friends on the board)... 1) Rupp's non-denials are beginning to sound like insane ramblings 2) murder memes are mad creepy, son but 3) people may be over-reacting. Well, no. He bought books at specified grades, claimed they were over-graded, pocketed partial refunds, and then resold them at higher grades than the ones attributed by the original seller. That's not negotiating - that's scamming. Truer words... Bosco, I've never seen you to be anything but level-headed, fair and intelligent on the boards. In this case, however, I believe you purchased a bill of goods pretty certain he was quoting the dad here Correct! I read that all wrong- as if you were empathetic to dad.
