  1. Last one for today, another one of these classics. Appreciate thoughts on possible grade. As always, will be cleaned and pressed.
  2. Appreciate thought on this classic book. Will be cleaned and pressed prior to submission.
  3. Would appreciate your thoughts on the possible grade for this Thor #133 from the recent Ian Penman Collection sale. As to be expected, the book will be cleaned and pressed before submission.
  4. My final UK price variant from the recent Ian Penman Collection sale of Werewolf By Night #10. As expected, cleaned and pressed before submission.
  5. Once again another UK price variant from the recent Ian Penman Collection sale for Werewolf By Night #11. Of course, cleaned and pressed before submission.
  6. Another UK price variant from the recent Ian Penman Collection sale for Werewolf By Night #10. Will be cleaned and pressed before submission.
  7. CGC trolls us once again. Congrats on the grade though. Instead of pressing, you could have used a tacking iron on that dent btw, although seems you didn't need it.
  8. +1. I do get the sense of that most of us here are collecting and occasionally flip/selling to support our growing collections.
  9. I watch Brys videos and was actually stunned that he had no idea about the boards. How can you be submitting to CGC yet never even look at our very own dark corner of the internet? Next thing you know we'll all be selling books on TikTok, asking for grading advice on Twitter or sticking crappily painted poorly misspelled acetate covers on our overstocked/purchased comic books.
  10. Looks like Economy Submissions suffering for the much vaunted (and promoted) improvements on Moderns.
  11. Last one for today, appreciate thoughts on the grade. Will be cleaned and pressed before submitting.
  12. Looking for the thoughts on the grade of this classic silver age book. Will be cleaned and pressed before submitting.
  13. Appreciate your thoughts on the possible grade of this Tales of Suspense #75 multiple key from hidden away in the Ian Penman Collection sale. Will be cleaned and pressed before submitting.
  14. Not so much a variant, rather the awesome 3rd print with Eastman sketch cover (anyone know what the print run was on these?). Such a cool prize and can't wait to get mine along with the plaque (I have already spent the credit). A huge thanks to CGC for recognizing all the sets here... well played all.
  15. Looks pretty good (spine ok, front and back clean, top corners look sharp) however you can't see the bottom corners in the pictures you have shared. Can you share some more images? If as good as the top corners, I think you maybe in 9.2-9.4 territory, perhaps more with clean and press. With that in mind, certainly a candidate for any Todd signing in my mind. Is there one soon?
  16. Nice book indeed and shame for that rip on the front cover. 7.0 it is for me.
  17. A silver age classic UK price variant from the Ian Penman Collection, Strange Tales #158. Noting that crease on the cover assume this will top out around 4.0 thru 6.0, but wanted thoughts from the team here. Again, will be cleaned and pressed prior to submission.
  18. Nice book, wish I had held onto mine. My take is a clean and press will provide minimal benefit here; the front and back cover looks clean and no press will remove colour breaking stress lines; the only possible benefit being for the overhang and right hand corners. As is I think you are borderline 8.5/9.0, so risky based on your requirement.
  19. Shame for that crease as the rest of the book was great. Still at least you have a copy, still hunting for mine.
  20. Congratulations, nice grade (and book, that Ploog cover). Did you get the book pressed or is this as was previously presented?
  21. Another silver age classic UK price variant from the Ian Penman Collection, Tales Of Suspense #69. Again, will be cleaned and pressed prior to submission.
