Yes, CCS. That said, I have two other books in this same submission that far from turned out this well (think detached staples; tears and waviness - all in graders notes too)

Latest updates in RED. Evident that the strangeness on what gets graded and when continues... The much delayed 15 book Modern Fast Track Press and Grade that was finally received last week was graded in a day (much like the 5 book Value Fast Track Press & Grade) whilst both 15 book Modern Fast Track Grade and Eastman Magazine Signings still sitting at Scheduled for Grading from mid last week.

Latest updates (in red) and finally starting to see movement after long delays. Sadly, two of the books in recently Finalised Value Fast Track Press & Grade had some funky stuff happening in graders notes. Looks like CCS issues again, but waiting to get books in hand to verify. In other good news though, Eastman signing books finally out of CCS and Scheduled for Grading.

It came (it is en-route to me shipping) with grader notes stating: Grader Notes:moderate cover tanning staple detached bottom of front cover staple detached top of front cover very small chip out right top of front cover The staple detachment is new and I'm obviously concerned that this has occured in pressing. Both seemed fine when submitted to CGC ( also took scans on the book prior to sending - and also featured it on Hey Buddy Can You Spare A Grade). With that in mind, has this happened to anyone else? and what is the recourse/best practice (if any) here?

The Walkthrough finally appears as received, and then closely followed by the Modern Fast Track which skipped Received and went straight to Scheduled for Grading (it was in the same package). As per most posts, we are at just over 3 weeks for CGC to open a box now.

Think I noted a couple of color breaking spine ticks, but think still has an outside chance of a 9.4. Good luck if you choose to submit. I love this book too, Legion is awesome character (I'm lucky to have a 9.8 and 9.6 in my possession).

I'm going to be optimistic and say 7.5. I love those stamps on the back cover too, great to see provanence like that.

I missed this when originally listed and did the same as you with similarly a 3.0 as my guess. Regardless a great book, congrats.

Updated as a above for Value Tier only. Straight out of pressing and graded in a day!?!?!? This really is crazy and makes no sense to me at all, especially when Modern Fast Track was submitted at same time. Also note the Walkthrough still nowhere to be seen. Rang customer service as well who advised that the books for Claremont signing haven't even been signed yet.

Looks like CGC didn't denote it as a Canadian Variant either. I'd reach out and get them to update (they should do this as Mechanical Error free resub).

At least they are consistently delaying everything now as I noted they've upped the grading and pressing times for these sessions too. Instead of the previous 3 weeks to grade or 6 with press, now "CGC will grade and encapsulate them with an estimated turnaround time of six weeks. If CCS pressing is also requested, the turnaround time is estimated at eight weeks."

My copy is currently in for a press and grading; expect to get it back in 2032.

And still CGC adding more Signature Series signings (Jim Shooter again) to further compound their current problems. They should really put those on hold until they get on top of this issue.

This is on top of Eastman and Claremont signing books sitting at received as well.

On marking packages with FT, I spoke with CGC team this week and they said that doing that doesn't make any difference timing wise. The only markings where they pull books out early are for Signings, Walkthrough (mark with WK) and Express (mark with EX) tiers.

Very happy with the results from the clean and press on this one. That back cover is awesome.
