Very happy to have acquired this pence copy of one of my grail mega keys. and would really appreciate views on possible grade. Will be getting cleaned and pressed.

Another for consideration to submit. Has the original mask included (but will get the green label due to unwitnessed Stan Lee sig). Any ideas on the possible grade?

Has a couple of defects; water stain on middle left front cover, tear on middle right hand cover, small fold and a small tear at top right back cover, but other than that looks good especially as the original Hulk transfer and the value stamp are included. Any ideas on the grade?

So, I just picked this up at a recent UK auction. Who knows if I overpaid, but excited to see what I find, pence copies galore! The description was a gem: COMICS: FOUR TRAYS OF MARVEL COMICS, TO INCLUDE CAPTAIN AMERICA 100, X-MEN 28 ETC., AND THOR ETC. in the midst of what looks like a house clearance.

That's an interesting result and a great example of buy the book, not the grade. Regardless, congratulations.

Staples missing in production is a known issue and CGC don't penalise the grade, so if high enough grade can still hit 9.6 or 9.8. my understanding is they add a note on label something like "Manufactured with staple missing" Regardless I'm at 9.2+. Again you may want clean and press prior.

9.0/9.2 some minor spine ticks so reckon could benefit from a press and clean

Thanks @Get Marwood & I I missed one in the orginal batch as well, Astonishing Spider-Man #18. which features reprints of Marvel Team-up #4 (X-Men), #12 (Werewolf By Night), #15 (Ghost Rider) and #31 (Iron Fist). Love the cover homage to Paul McCartney and Wings "Band On The Run" LP.

Wanted to share these recent high grade Marvel Treasury Editions UK Price variant pickups. I didn't even realize these existed in this format, but found out reading RareComics Pence Price Variant Issue Guide (Marvel & DC) and went back to check @Get Marwood & I previous posts, but couldn't find the relevant thread on these. Is there a link to the aforementioned (on page #1 of this thread) Google Doc/Google Drive scans?

I was the same, but upon checking it looks like Ink from printing press and common on these Marvel UK paper cover books.

Think I was robbed on this one. Might re-submit again.

Good grade, but ouch! Might have to crack it out and just enjoy it in Mylar.

Finally!!!!

Long story on this one, was submitted twice in the end. Came back initially as a 9.2 with some bizarre grading notes (especially via my usually very reliable presser). Resubmitted at Wondercon going via CCS before grade and hit this. Love the custom label.
