  1. I... just... love... double-dipping on something that should have been available for the first DVD/Blu Ray release. X-Men 1.5 anyone or Spider-Man 2.0? Blame George Lucas! They butchered Rogue in these films. Why on earth would they promote that?
  2. You're young. You'll learn. High waisted things can hide & compress bits that I don't want to see when those same high waisted pants are on the floor later. I don't like surprises.
  3. You just don't see automotive style like that anymore because back then aerodynamic technology was still in it's infancy so automakers could still style their cars without worrying about fuel mileage too much. Fast forward 20-30 years and everything starts to look generic because the perfect aerodynamic shape is what takes precedent. New cars look cool but often it's hard to tell them apart. I would argue the same for fashion. Up to the early 1990's you could still be daring and different - and the 80's were a crazy time for fashion with outrageous outfits (men looking like women, women looking like men, etc). Today everything is much more homogenized. And everyone has a beard. Yep. It's modern sports cars like these that make me miss the sports cars of the 80's...
  4. Word has it that Lotus teamed up with Toyota to make the AW11.
  5. He's great in rom-coms, terrible in everything else. Green Lantern (or wolverin origins, blade 3 if you like), is all that really needs to be said about his superhero resume I actually really enjoyed him in Wolverine when he was just Wade Wilson, and I think he's going to bring the same kind of energy to the Deadpool film, but probably even more spastic. Never saw Blade 3 (though I want to), and I thought he was decent in GL. I definitely wouldn't say he's great in rom-coms, and terrible in everything else. Ever see Buried? I thought he was superb in that movie. I urge everyone to wait until they've seen Deadpool to judge RR in the part. From everything I've heard from my colleagues working on the movie, he's an absolute star in the role. I honestly wouldn't want anyone else to play Deadpool. I think Reynolds to Deadpool is Jackman to Wolverine. If you ask me, Reynolds already nailed it in the cgi teaser/promo.

  7. In your opinion, why is Ryan Reynolds a bad choice for Deadpool? Because he's a well known actor?
  8. Channing Tatum, and Channing Tatum's agent. This! I can't see Tatum pulling off a character as unique as Gambit. Keep in mind he didn't land the gig because he's got the look and acting chops to give Gambit justice. He was a shoo-in from the start because Lauren Shuler has a school girl crush on him. According to her... "He's a rascal, just like Remy LeBeau." "How can anyone resist Channing? He's such a sweetheart." I really hope Tatum proves me wrong.
  9. I'm just glad there's more scenes with an MR2! I'll be seeing it for that reason alone.
  10. Sold a Ms Marvel 1 to Scott. Easiest transaction ever. Cool dude to boot. Thanks!
  11. Sold a BA 12 to Joe. Easiest transaction ever, and super nice guy to boot! Thanks Joe!
  12. Bought some Spider-Gwen comics from Josh. They arrived fast and secure. Couldn't ask for a better seller. Thanks Doc!
  13. I'll give it a chance. It's gotta be better than the garbage we've previously been given. Besides, there's a scene where Johny Storm is working on my car.
  14. Picked up an X Men 94 from Collin. Fast shipping, great packaging, and a nice guy taboot! Thanks Collin!
  15. Fixed for greater accuracy. I looked for a jump around when Star Wars Episode III came out in 2005 but couldn't find one. The force isn't with you
  16. Yep. I bought my 9.4 copy in 2001 for $1000 and it might be worth $1500 today going by GPA sales from the last year. That's an APR increase of around 3%, which is about the same as the inflation rate. Your 9.4 copy is worth more than $1500. Looks like the 12-month GPA is $1625...still not high enough to claim I've beaten inflation. But the 90 day average is $1,850. Not to mention that the last sale was $2,025.
