  1. Not sure, he was quick to respond to me through his website and I wished all artist were as cool as Dan. It was like talking to a friend while making the deal on this piece. Look about 2-3 posts up for your answer.
  2. Nope, he's back doing cover work at least. He's repped by Essential Sequential. http://www.essentialsequential.com/Dan-Panosian_c_29.html
  3. sandwiched between something that wont easily bend. Ive gotten art shipped to me in between masonite, thick foam core, and also cardboard & then boxed. Next trash day, keep your eyes peeled for a plasma TV box. That is some thick cardboard and free. Some cheapskate dealers will actually get 100% shipping supplies from usps, Yes a multitude of swiped boxes for my $1000+ art leaves such an image. The best one I've ever received was a commission piece form an artist sandwiched between two torn out sketch book covers, with a piece of cut hardwood flooring taped to one side, then placed in an envelope. His art rep (who is a member on these boards) would probably be mortified. Maybe his tactic was to get you to buy enough art that you could re-do your living room floor?

  5. The Mayhew Buffy is just awesome! Cover worthy.

  10. Just added to my CAF Gallery this morning, the 1:25 variant cover for Rocket Raccoon #1 by David Petersen. Rocket Raccoon #1 - Petersen Variant Cover
  11. I rarely post in here about a new addition, but I think this one is worthy of it. The 1:25 variant cover for Rocket Raccoon #1 by David Petersen. Comments aren't necessary, but always appreciated. Thanks! Rocket Raccoon #1 - Petersen Variant Cover
  12. Also quite possible that the whomever inked the issue received those pages in the cut.
  13. My one piece from C2E2. I was lucky enough to get on David Petersen's list. Mrs. Frisby/Brisby and the Great Owl
  14. Picked this up from Jim Warden with DOA for a nice price off eBay since it ended on Easter Sunday. Matt Wagner page from Batman and the Monster Men #2. Link to CAF
  15. Congrats, Alex! I was looking at that myself. Beautiful piece of Kane art!
  16. From Marvel wih Love: James Bond and Black Widow by Scott McDaniel
  17. I knew when Amazing X-Men started it's run that I would want a page with everyone's favorite fuzzy blue elf, and I finally found one I had to have! Nightcrawler in all his sulfur and brimstone glory, showing his charm with his Amazing Friends (sorry Spidey!) and even an awesome Bamf! Amazing X-Men #4, pg. 12
  18. Angela claims the "Iron" Throne by Brian Hurtt. For anyone not familiar with my "Iron" Throne series, it's a Marvel Universe character claiming a throne made up of Iron Man's armor. Most are 11 x 17 commissions, but I've found that getting a few done on books has freed up money to get a few more done! You can check out other pieces here: The "Iron" Throne
  19. Very nice piece, LARRY! Glad you left it as is, Frank, and it did frame up beautifully! (thumbs u
  20. Not soon enough. Issue 4 felt a little slow to me (although it was sad) so hopefully it'll pick back up in issue 5. Plus, I want more Cheryl/Jason. I know whatever is going on with them is totally taboo but I'm completely in love with that angle. I wouldn't care if they pushed it back to an 8 week schedule if it meant the stories were longer. The writing has been great, but when half the book is a back-up story . . .
  21. Fresh off his run on Marvel Knights: X-men, Brahm Revel delivered this awesome piece featuring Wolverine claiming the "Iron" Throne: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1107899&GSub=148043 And Ken Branch has added this beauty to my "Harley Quinn Project" as well: http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1107902
  22. Just added, X-Factor #92, pg. 18, the 1st appearance of Exodus by Joe Quesada & Al Milgrom. http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1106997
  23. Nice! If you want the story behind the piece, you should contact Mark. He's on deviantART, Twitter, and Facebook. I'm sure he'd tell you. Thanks, Travis! I'll try to get hold of him.
  24. The first piece in my Harley Quinn Project by Mark Brooks and Rob Hunter http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1106455
