  1. I originally tried to get this one, but I was too cheap and too late. Now that I've got mine in hand though, I don't think I'd trade it. It feels more like a more Swamp Thingish pose to me. I think you ended up with the better one. With no offense intended to Mr. Wrightson, for some reason the other one looks like King Kong took a dip in the ocean and came up with a bunch of seaweed all over him to me.
  2. Anyone actually read the book and think the story was pretty short?
  3. I'm thinking your fascination with Spider-Woman centers around the fact that the yellow markings on her costume cup her boobs and look like an arrow pointing directly at her hoo-ha. Is it to early to call this the post of the year?
  4. I believe their collect-ability relies on the artist, cost and as Pete mentioned the state of finish. I only have one, which is a pretty detailed Harley Quinn by Mark Brooks. I have no idea what it is a prelim for, but I got it for a steal compared to what I'd have to pay for his finished work. http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1005608
  5. Three new pieces added to my "Iron" Throne commission, please feel free to check them out here: Magneto, Cloak and Dagger & Ghostrider claim the "Iron" Throne
  6. I figured it was time to grab a Stegaman Spider-Man page before he makes the jump to Wolverine.
  7. Figured it was time to pick up a Stegman Spider-Man page before he makes the jump to Wolverine. Picked this up during Cadence Comic Art's Holiday Sale!
  8. The plastic case also makes a handy tool to smash undead skulls to smithereens
  9. Just finished reading that article, not sure the author gets the point of this show based on this sentence: The AMC zombie drama has also become a show about a band of survivors getting separated, thrown back together, kicked out of their home, finding a new one. What do you expect a bunch of people trying to avoid being munched on by the undead to do?
  10. Just added my first complete story, "Options" from X-Men Gold #1. http://cafurl.com?i=20627 In case you're unfamiliar, “Options!”, written by Len Wein with fantastic artwork by Jorge Molina, takes place during Giant-Size X-Men #1. It's a look inside the head of Wolverine, Wein’s creation, as he imagines how he could defeat all of the other members of the new team of X-Men now that they have assembled at the mansion for the first time.
  11. Ra's daughter is coming to Starling City: Not the one you think, though
  12. Tonight on Arrow: A deadly illness sweeps through Starling City. When Diggle is struck down, Oliver confirms that the source of the illness is a new version of Vertigo. Tracking down a lead, Felicity is soon captured by The Count, who has escaped prison. Meanwhile, Moira fights for her life in the courtroom against a death sentence, and Laurel is forced to prosecute her when DA Donner is stricken down by the same illness. All this and Ollie runs out of mascara and has to borrow some from Felicity. My bet is that Barry Allen shows up on the 12/04 episode called The Scientist
  13. It does look like they tacked the front of the hood down with a velcro tab. I was thinking the same thing!
  14. Some super-hero uniforms just aren't practical!
  15. I don't think the Gov is a "do it yourself" kinda guy. If he's back, rest assured he's got an army with him. Agreed. I still think that the little skirmish last season wasn't the real prison attack. I think the full on assault led by the Governor will happen this year.
  16. Older article, but since POI was created by Jonathan Nolan, still relevent: Batman Analogy Isn't That Far Off
  17. I wasn't around for this, but he completely lost me right there.
