  1. Thanks to fellow board member, kaholo1256, this bad boy in now mine! First appearance of the "All-New" Beast!
  2. After Val Semeiks delivered some amazing pencils last year for my "Iron" Throne commission series, I knew I would eventually get it inked. Thank you Mr. Gary Martin!
  3. Just for arguements sake: 1) Reed could be a young prodigy 2) Sue could rob the cradle 3) Johnny could be her half brother, step brother or adopted 4) Ben could bulk up with his transformation. I could deal with most of these changes if the -script and or story are of the highest quality, but all indications are that it's pure mess.
  4. That is an outstanding list, Alex! I'm particularly fond of this one and this one, too , unfortunately they weren't around when your list was made.
  5. This could be an interesting take : Just Who Exactly is Lex Luthor in Superman vs Batman
  6. Might be a silly question, but is he falling? They framed it upside down!!!
  7. What process to you go through when selecting your artists? Haven't heard of many you have chosen and they all have come out so great. Thanks! Whomever will work the cheapest!!! Actually, most of them were artists that I have commissioned in the past, so I've been familiar with their work, but some, such as Cody, I just found his work online and thought he might be a good fit. Occasionally I've asked some of the art dealers I know if they may have an artist they represent who would be interested in my theme. That's how Riley Rossmo and Sheldon Vella ended up doing pieces for me. Neither were taking commissions at the time, but both were instantly inspired and came up with very cool pieces. And every now and then, our fellow collectors will suggest an artist to look into. It helps that most of them have been fans of either the books or show as well and I usually give them free reign to pick the character they want to claim the throne. It's been fun!
  8. So after appearing together in Zombieland and Now You See Me, I only have one question: Will Woody Harrelson now be cast as Miss Tessmacher?
  9. Cody Schibi's take on the Green Goblin claiming the "Iron" Throne:
  10. So in the future, the Sentinels will be assimilated by the Phalanx!?!
  11. How dare you ruin the purity of this thread! It's called the "Official" Commission Collecting Thread for a reason! Take your pretty little published piece here
  12. If you're framing art, museum quality glass is recommended, for storage, a lot of people use portfolios like these from Itoya: Itoya Art Profolio If you're looking for more art, there's a dealer list in the Original Art Marketplace, as well as members selling pieces. You can also find it on auction sites such as eBay, Comiclink & Heritage. Dealer List in OA Marketplace And most importantly, you should read through this thread for some great advice. Good luck!
  13. Just added this page to my collection. Kicking off the All-New Trial of Jean Grey, I really loved that Beast's calculations were drawn in by Stuart and didn't rely on today's digital trickery.
  14. Here's another one and it mentions that she's attempting to bulk up for the role. http://www.hypable.com/2014/01/22/gal-gadot-signs-three-picture-deal-to-play-wonder-woman/
