  1. Apologies if someone on here now owns this page.  I think it's a great page with X-23 rescuing a dog from a fire, and I looked at it several times when it was on Anthony's site as well as when he had it listed on eBay.  My wife and I both love dogs, so I was naturally drawn to it, but the look on the dog's face in the second panel just killed it for me.  I realize the dog is probably supposed to be in shock, but it just looks hypnotized, zombified or caught in headlights to me.

  4. Latest addition to my "Iron" Throne theme!  Thanks to Felix for setting up this piece with Stephen Green at Rose City and to Alex Johnson for the pick up.  Alex made it out to Rose City from Houston after dodging Hurricane Harvey and was picking this up for me while I dodged Hurricane Irma here in Florida.  Very fitting for a piece with art associated with the God of Thunder!  http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1424160&GSub=184128

  5. Typical Marvel these days.  They jump into telling a new story before finishing these heavily promoted events/crossovers and you're left with nothing but confused readers.  The recent Secret Wars wasn't finished before they started new issues that referred to events in Secret Wars that readers didn't even know about because the book was extended and delayed.  They just did it again with Secret Empire, which was also extended, thus delaying the ending of the story which just helped explain the Generations titles:

    Spoiler

According to Secret Empire #10, the Generations titles are a result of Kobik (the living Cosmic Cube) giving a gift to certain heroes and allowing them to travel back and meet their predecessors)

Both Jon and Dany were born near the end of Robert's Rebellion, so I'm not sure who is older (book enthusiasts will probably know), but  Danerys IS THE AUNT of Jon Snow.  Which makes the end of the finale....awkward....

    Book nerd here :shy::

Daenerys Stormborn was conceived around the last month of Robert's Rebellion, right before her mother and Viserys were evacuated to Dragonstone. Estimates put her birth somewhere around 7-8 months after the war.  She and Viserys were smuggled out of Westeros by Targaryen supporters while the Baratheons were still consolidating their power and getting ready to launch a siege on Dragonstone.

Ned Stark and his companions left for the Tower of Joy (in Dorne) after the Seige on Storm's End was lifted, which was preceded by the Sacking of King's Landing. Upon reaching Lyanna, he found her down with fever. She was on her death bed after giving birth and made Ned promise to look after Jon (now Aegon).

So Jon/Aegon is older, probably by a little less or more than a year.

As for the awkwardness, not really any for the Targaryens.  They have a long tradition of marrying within their own family to keep the dragon bloodlines pure.  The original king of the Seven Kingdoms, Aegon the Conqueror, was married to both of his sisters.  I don't think the TV producers have necessarily conveyed that very well on the show.  And actually, if Viserys hadn't  felt he needed Drogo and the Dothraki to reclaim his throne, he would have married Daenerys himself.

Did we see Ghost and Arya meet in the forest a few episodes ago?

That was her dire wolf, Nymeria, that she was forced to release in Season 1.  She's been running wild in the river lands and forming a huge pack of her own.

I'm wondering if the Night King intentionally waited before acting, actually wanting a dragon to come closer to attack him before throwing a spear (still, he was 1 for 2 at long distance).

My question is why did the Night King throw the spear at the dragon flying wildly in the sky instead of the largest dragon that was on the ground and carrying his enemies?

Also, if he can throw a spear that far, why didn't he just chuck one at Jon in his boat last season? hm

Watched the whole season yesterday.  I enjoyed it and would rate it 4 out of 5 stars.  It had some plot problems, but nothing bad enough to ruin the enjoyment for me.  I'm glad to see they made progress with the Danny Rand character. He was a lot better here than in Iron Fist season 1.  Some might not like the slower pace at the beginning, but I enjoyed playing catch-up with the characters, bringing us up to speed on their lives.  The biggest downside is, with only 8 episodes, the slow start left us with a more simplistic and brief conflict.  It would have benefited from a few more episodes and a further developed story line.

I agree and enjoyed it as well.  While I don't think it needed the full 13 episodes they've given prior seasons, 9-10 would have allowed the ending not to have felt as rushed.

So somebody bought art from him, received a xerox copy, and then left neutral feedback? What would it take to give him negative feedback? What if he delivers it in person and then takes a dump in your living room? Would that get a neg?

Also, he added "poor shipping." He sent you a xerox copy... what difference if he shipped it poorly? What a world we live in.

I think your expectations of that buyer are too high.  He did think he was getting a Sal Buscema original Hulk page for .99 cents.
