There's a theme here, but it didn't take long for these to quickly surpass my budget

A great deal of world building and expansion going on. Plus decoding Krakoan is kind of fun:

Loving this and definitely agree it's shaping up to be a classic. While I enjoyed the Bendis/Bachalo run on Uncanny and was intrigued by the Bendis/Immonen run on All-New X-Men, I don't think the X-Men have been this relevant or exciting since Claremont/Lee in the 90s.
Plus they finally gave us a Krakoan decoder in today's House of X!

Black Cat claims the "Iron" Throne by Jose Jaro, who was fantastic to work with. I highly recommend him if you're looking to commission an artist anytime soon.

Love the art and it looks so familiar, but I just can't place it.

@Kevin Boyd Thanks for putting on a great show! I appreciated it being back in the South/North Concourse area again this year. Much bette set-up and plenty of parking.
I did have one question though, why the major date change for next year's show?

Here's two examples, Romita who famously used it extensively, and now Chris Burnham who seems to as well.
You would have to clarify with Felix @Nexus, but I think Chris prints out loose digital bluelines, not hand drawn in blue pencil, and then uses his inks to detail them.

Headed over to MegaCon this past Friday. One day at a con can be tough, but I think I came away with a nice haul.
I added 3 new pieces to my Iron Throne Theme.
- Apocalypse by Alessandro Micelli
- Dark Claw by Derec Donovan
- Marrionette by Daniel Dulitzky
Ben Harvey added Weapon X to my sketch book and I picked up this great watercolor of Superboy from him as well
James Silvani drew this fun Gizmo Duck kicking a soccer ball in my son's sketchbook and I also added this Darkwing Duck piece
I grabbed this little drawing of Starfire from Amy Mebberson for my daughter
David Nakayama drew this great image of Wasabi (a character he created along with Chris Claremont for the comics) in my "Art of Big Hero 6" book.
Finally, I finished up a Wolverine jam piece I'd been working on. Mike Perkins added Wolverine in his original costume, Buzz added grey tones to the Wolverine he drew at last year's MegaCon and Karl Moline tied them all together by adding Wolverines clawed arm in the middle of the piece.
