Yeah. I see all sorts of stupidity in fb on the regular. Some of these guys LIVE in front of the camera. Seriously they're there all day long just talking to strangers trying to sell drek. Btw, I always wondered how much of that is shilled there as well since there's no way to tell who's who. Meaning. I doubt anyone would shill a dazzler 1 but there are a lot of auctions that try getting your attention by listing high end books at .99 cents to start and selling tons of drek along with it

I agree. There's a big comeback for big copper artists.. Mcfarlane with Spawn 1, Spider-Man 1 gold, Liefeld with x-force, and now Lee with this. I'm pretty sure we'll see Punisher war journal pick up next.. But I highly doubt his X-Men run will ever pick up

When that book came out it was an 8-10 dollar book. Was such a huge book. Then it just became Uber drek. And now this... how dows someone goes to spend 25$ on this is beyond me

That was exactly my point.. Essentially it doesnt matter if thats the only DCU with other unique variant attributes (as cool as that could be). But assuming that this was a retailer incentive as you suggested, wonder what the distribution was like. And wonder if it was greater or lower than the usual DCU pack distribution numbers

I guess my point was that with Tec 675 platinum they only made DCU platinums. No newsstands or direct editions. How were those distributed? as part of a pack as well?

Yes it does. Is that book the only DCU for a variant cover? I know that Supes wedding has both, but the platinum tec is the only one I can think of that was only made with DCU. Unless I'm wrong?

Fb is probably really an indication of what's going on w comic book "sellers" nowadays. I have 20-25 selling groups I subscribed to bcs I sell stuff there as well. But I just copy and paste my eBay BINS and pray for the best. Back to my point, these so called sellers are mostly lonely dudes who have nothing on their hands but time and they will sit there in front of the camera for 3-4 hours with 2-3 viewers showing off their books hoping that someone will log in and spend 5-10$ on a random book. Pathetic. And this is an on going trend. I mean there are probably hundred of dudes each week doing this. This new phenomenon only happened with comic book sellers to the best of my knowledge That probably goes to show you that most people, even on eBay, probably do this because they are bored and just wanna do something that involves getting them more occupied with comics. Would be probably better if they read the books instead

I just buy from anyone that has a return policy case closed. Sometimes even if they don't.. but that's when I get them stupid cheap!
