  1. Those are the fans that DC needs to cater to in order to make this film a success
  2. I believe it. If you attend ANY Biz signing you see the exact group of people you mentioned There will be a convention going, with a Bisley convention in it... Its like a Bisley anonymous
  3. I'm still wondering why Kirkman haven't gotten Corben to do a Walking Dead cover/interior
  4. Unless kirkman gets into ds in some sort of sexual/racial scandal, I don't see WD ever being forgotten as the successful book/show that it is today
  5. Frazetta is where it's at if I'm being unrealistic (even if the master was alive and in perfect health I doubt I could afford him) realistically I would love to have a book drawn by Sandy Plunkett and Scott Hampton. They had a short stint together at Marvel and their work ROCKED. I think that teaming them up together for a series is a no brainer
  6. Based on present culture impact and cyclical trends for the future - WD
  7. X 1000 every time I hear someone say that comics are experiencing a renaissance I'm thinking to myself, gee, you must've not read books in the 80s
  8. I agree. Reading PC in the 80s made me feel like I grew up in the 50s reading EC comics
  9. Warner was definitely a fantastic copper artist. I loved Black Cross and just like you, kinda feel it's of key/classic status for this thread. But here goes
  10. Im actually shocked to see how much buzz is going around over this movie, was just at my LCS and thats all they were talking about there too! Tons of copies on the bay, but tons of movement as well!
  11. Thats the only time that Gene kinda reminded me of Lobo
  12. Unless Im missing a joke here, Ive never heard or thought of any correlation between GS and Lobo. Kiss were HUGE in the 70s-early 80s. Lobo really wasnt anything until 1990 when the Bisley series hit. Some will even go as far as saying that he wouldnt be who he is in the 90s without the Biz
  13. Ill add Elfquest #1 (1st print 1.00 cover), much harder to find than FQ#1, even though it mainly consists of reprinted material Vootie #9 (1st Omaha in comic form. Fanzine print run 65) Shadis #2 - 1st Knights of the Dinner Table Atomtan - 1st Tank Girl in poster Deadline #1 - 1st Tank Girl in comic form... BTW.. Book is SCORCHING hot now more to come....
  14. I agree. Owning an early comic cover from your childhood is well spent money!
  15. Exactly. I mean, if you love Lobo like I do, you'd pretty much just enjoy watching him bash aliens skulls for 2 hours and making out with a bird or 2 even if there was no story at all.. Oh and in 3-D nonetheless! sign me up, Em-Bay or not!
