  1. I always remember seeing that listing for Omaha The cat Dancer #1 which closed at around 250.00 on eBay and it kinda got me to think, if its not a key (at least not in today's standards) or a classic cover, which cover art would you like to own? Here are 2 that come to mind:
  2. And technically this post should really be in the Bronze section, as much as I too identify with Lobo during copper. But still, for a book that has his 1st appearance on the cover with a red background, it should be in Bronze
  3. I have total faith in the character and the movie. And as much as I hate Michael Bay movies, thats really all this character needs. I would be worried for Lobo fans if it was Snyder
  4. "which DC and Warner Bros. hope could be their answer to Deadpool" Just as I predicted some time ago
  5. Yup I know, logically it all makes sense, but judging off my BIN traction alone its all over the place. I find that most of my sales actually occur during the day and really late at night (sometimes 2-4 am), Ill wake up and my phone will have all those ebay/paypal alerts And as far as auctions, between the snipers and the non snipers who bid when you list an item and automatically set a top bid soon after, youre really looking at about a small amount of auctions that will actually end with a person sitting next to the screen. Add to that the mobility aspect with smartphones and tablets and I really doubt any of it really relates to a certain day of the week anymore
  6. I would pre-screen any potential 9.8s as such and not worry about anything else for now
  7. So pretty much any day of the week I mainly do BINs too. And theres no day of the week I can say which is stronger, its more of a seasonal thing, one month will be slow then boom i get an avalanche of sales. I always think that eBay has a system where they move around certain sellers visibility and thats when you get the most sales. i know, weird, but it almost seems that way at times
  8. Seriously? If I had that same box of 300 x force 1s and inspected them carefully and determined there's no linear seam crease on the majority of them.. I would've in a heart beat. I like those 2 examples; Spawn is a quick flip raw. X-force 1 brings more money slabbed @ 9.8
  9. The craziest thing is that up until 2 years ago I would come across people on craigslist who would contact me about such finds "Hey I have a box full of X-Force #1" or a box full of Spawn #1 and they would ask for 300 bucks for them not knowing back then that they were worthless. All gone now.
  10. Interesting topic. Do you guys really think it has to do with a day of the week? While I know some days are slower than others, I never found one specific day (like a Friday or Saturday as you specified) to be slower than others. Sometimes I'd have great Fridays, sometimes sundays... etc etc
  11. So assuming an X-force 1 9.8 is currently a 200-250 book, would $50 be a fair price for a 9.8 raw (unbagged of course)?
  12. Didn't someone say that there was a print error with most of them which produced that line? Ive never seen a copy without one and they are most color breaking lines. Beyond pressable.
  13. Didn't win this although I saved it and forgotten all about it As I suspected it closed low due to sellers failure to list correct issue # in the title
  14. At first I thought Hulk was squeezing cap in his fist with only his head popping out
  15. I know. I think this book is pretty sought after in high grade. There were 10 watchers on this.. it had one opening bid standing still at 49.95 till the very last second when all snipers started shooting. I was set at 80.00 but didn't think it would ever get to almost 200
