  1. I'm going to throw out the name Neal Adams for a cover!
  2. Can someone answer which studio owns Mike Morales? If Marvel studios owns him then no way they would work out a deal with Peter -Spidey just to not use him for something they do have in subsequent films.
  3. Yes renumbering will kill the collector and put off new readers. Its not a mini its still the same story just continuing of the story, legacy is the best way to go IMO.
  4. The reason I say 2-4 k is because the first print phantom flew under the radar at 544 copies and by the time the second print phantom and b^w hit more interest was there.
  5. I'm going to guess that print run is at least 2 k or higher but not more than 4 k.
  6. Good article. The thing and this is just a difference of opinion here but when Latour says its a strength to not have Peter in Gwen's universe gives her more freedom etc. I see it the opposite because Silk has the best of both worlds, she can handle things on her own and in combination with Peter. That to me is a bigger win.
  7. Now that is hysterical! I have that book! hehe Is it a first print. Yes and extra gloss too.
  8. It's not technically. It's printed on the book " second printing " That is the biggest reason I it's not a first print Thus does it deem it worthless? I tell you what I'll trade you my #1 a or b your choice for one. Any takers? I think not. Case closed.
  9. So everyone here agrees the #1 NYCC is most unwanted cause its a con varaint and technically a second printing?
  10. Sometimes a con variant comes out before the book even comes out. That's not a 2nd print. So the first print would actually be the second print. I'm getting a headache Lets all just agree they are beyond a tiny print run on all of them and they are in demand.
  11. And this is the big one here, there is a supply demand issue with the earlier issues. That will not change and get better for the holders and worse for the buyers as time goes on as far as price. So if you invested in this book I'd say don't worry about it.
  12. I'm with you on this one. A few once in a while would be fine but its overload. I feel the same on the JSC covers.
  13. Personally I'm offended that this character has the gender specific -man in Spider-man. It smacks of gender discrimination that the individual has to be a man. Why can't Spidey be a non-gendered asexual being that may or may not have been born to any specific country of origin or matter of fact planet Earth. I think if Marvel was really on the ball they would consider all of this and the fact that Spidey is not representing specific segments in society in specific percentages that I render worthy depending on the state of mind I am in on that specific date and time. ....just teasing but this is about how far PC has gotten lately.
  14. Everything is seen that way right now even if it isn't which is true about 99.99999 percent of the time. So youre saying that 99.99999 percent of the time someone that says theyre 95 percent sure.. It doesnt happen Let me clear it up for you. “I really didn’t say everything I said.” - Yogi Berra
  15. All the issues were almost impossible for me to find until about issue 5 but I was able to find a 3 a on the shelf at one shop. I think just about every issue is......

  17. He said 2 different things there but the way he said it, watching his body language he just is speculating. They need a good redo of Spider-man for the franchise going forward and I seriously doubt they would confused fans at this point.
  18. Who's Vanessa....I'm so confused. Seriously was Liefeld confused on who was who?
