I've only had issues with Midtown once all you have to do is take pictures of the damage and they sent you replacements. Smooth comic book sellers IMO.

I'd take a guess you could resubmit a 9.6 and a 9.8 copy of the same book and keep sending it in to CGC. I'd almost guess each time it'll flip flop between grades. Its just your best guess, pick out the best ones and take the gamble.

I may be off the wall but really feel Enormous has the makings to become a several thousand dollar slab. Especially the NYCC. So many others that have gone into that realm with nothing in the works. Look at the Mouse Guard HTF books. Some of them fetch thousands raw with a similar print run and I don't know a single person that reads it. Perhaps some feel it has the making of the next TMNT? Not sure, but if this launches into a top notch television series that is continued it very well may blow the doors off TWD slab prices. Easy TWD crew, just a reference. Ok fine Sir now you are making perfect sense. I definitely don't expect an individual who appears to be selling off the majority of the Enormous books he owns to see the possibilities. I never said that Enormous will fetch more than certain books. Just that it is a possibility, as is anything. Of course the series needs a ton more readers, successful show, etc etc. If I make as much sense as someone selling of their lot yet continues to post in this thread then I'm good. I'm not selling off my collection of Enormous just enough to make back my investment and they are mine to do with as I please. I like this title and will post here as long as I choose to. Is there a definitive source for this number? That 500 number has to have made a few people sweat - it would suck to track that down and find out it was in the realm of the Hastings of Phantom. I would really feel for people who had plunked down a big chunk of cash for one. Its 106 relax it was stated several times from reliable sources. I'm unsure why you think anyone is panicking. It's the same with all issues 2 & 3, both Cover A and Cover B, you simply don't see many out there. I think these will be the sleepers especially considering the numbers printed; if you want to complete a collection you'll be looking to source those. I was lucky that a retailer here in Melbourne, Australia ordered some; hence why I'm sitting on handful. With the low numbers on all these books it could play out many different ways. The first print of the first few issues (led by the Cover A's) may be where people will eventually land when this book gets even more increased attention. It is still very early days and we are just fortunate to be in on ground floor. I still think there is way too much emphasis on the NYCC (which, when you think about it, is essentially one (albeit a limited print) of four reprints. Still, nice to own one... In regards to the NYCC, I think its all about that print run of 106. Its the smallest printed #1. If 300 people decide they want a full set of #1s, That will be the toughest to get. For me, its not the most desirable, but as far as $$ goes, I don't see how that one could flop if the series maintains the current heat. But if enormous becomes enormous then more than 300 people will want to collect #1s. And with that the NYCC will pretty much be unattainable .. Making it a afterthought down the road. With more people getting mad and just looking at it at a 2nd print Nice dream there.

The NYCC is the Enormous RRP IMO. Its the only con #1 and couple that low print run it'll be the book to get for the serious Enormous collector. Like it, hate it, envy it, pity it, disagree with it. It is what it is.

Kuddos to everyone selling this book right now. Until we get actual news and not heresay I would not want to be stuck holding boatloads of these for very long IMO.

I phone into Fish Center Live on Adult Swim some times because its a live call in show where they just show a fish tank and talk about it. Its hosted by 5 animators in the Titmouse / Adult Swim studios. I'm sure if you called in you could ask them about it, among other things. So you get all your info from this show? Its all making sense now.

Everything will be retconned in a couple years just watch.
