My copy pales in comparison and Gator probably has more copies of USA #5 than the rest of us combined, but it's nice to see the club keeps growing. I would say your copy cleans up pretty well dude!! (thumbs u nice!!

  10. hey Scott I will tell you this much my friend Karl's stuff is legit man!!! a couple pages back you can see the AA61 he customized for me...never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined it coming out as cool as it did!! I have quite a few cool books but the first and last thing anyone talks about in my comic cave is this piece!! just pure awesomeness!!! maybe for you a nice Adventure 40 or a classic MLJ cover or splash like you said it is hard to choose but whatever you do...if you do...Karl can make it happen!! (thumbs u
  11. thanks Rick as always man (thumbs u "slipped in lower grades" is perfect for me!!! if you see any 1.5s or so of either book please let me know my friend I will pay you handsomely for them take it easy buddy
  12. More fun 55 has always been a cool book. Dr fate's first cover (56) is a better book to me, but with his fa in 55, if he were to somehow become a featured dc character, both those books have potential I used to stock action 23 deeply (3-5 copies at all times). It went into a period of flatness last few years but always has demand. Again, nothing really to ignite it at this point, just a cool early action ...I mean lex Luther has been done to death in movies , etc. GAtor...keeping in line with this question how do you think the Action #23 holds up against the classic More Fun #54? as you have stated many times we seem to be in a more or less somewhat cover driven market...I personally love both covers but the #54 has been deemed classic and only boasts the 3rd appearance of the Spectre...both seem somewhat comparible as far as price with the Action picking up some steam in the last year or so...will the #54 hold it's value d/t cover alone and do you see many of these books or ever hoard them in the past like the AC23?
  13. Dang man!!!!! the #34 has one of the cooler splash pages ever done as well!!
  14. great books ! +1 Triston is breaking out some neat books today
  15. I love these! Among the best! +1 very nice books Triston as always!!! that #46 WOW
  16. most codes refer to a distributor code that was particular for that title so it was easier for the drug store/newstand to track the titles as far as sales/ordering more titles/saving titles for regular customers (ie Lamont Larson). The "P" is somewhat common on GA books but the Penn Ped certainly has them. thanks for the info Bro!! good stuff as always appreciate it...u da man (thumbs u
  17. Picked up this MMC #28 after all the talks in the other thread...couldnt help myself such a neat book...It is in a non CGC holder at this time so I cut it out of the pic but it is a 2.5...Any idea what the, "P" marking could mean? I believe some of the Pennsylvania books had various marks like this if I am not mistaken...I do not know much about Pedigree books though so not really sure sorry...also this is a low grade book so I am not banking on it being a ped or anything just curious about the possible history...the more knowledge the better I guess...thanks gents
  18. NICE BOOK MY FRIEND!!!! another notch in the bat-belt-buckle!!
