So i had some books out just playing around like a kid in a candy store the other day and I realized Wow i really dig the clarity and feel of these new slabs!! Not to the point where i have actually sent any in to get reholdered or anything but it's not out of the realm of possibility. So I have 4 books total in the new holders and here they are...strange idea for a group shot i know

I should clear that up i meant that is 5 total copies on the census i have seen and this newest one to be added was a 9.2 not (5) 9.2s total.? back on topic WOW on that Science #2!! presents pretty well for the grade this is my kind of book. For those concerned i would love to have it but won't be participating so bid away without fear of me jacking it up even more ?

Not really a set and my apologies for posting so many pics lately but I'm just head over heels. I've been contemplating getting a shot with these two rare last issue #2's since i first ever laid eyes on em' and now i finally have the chance thanks to TWO AWESOME boardies!! Both out in early 1942. Lots of 2's in there haha!!

Here's one that i have been stewing over for quite some time and have been trying to dig up the answer and figured before I ask CGC I would ask the great board detectives and yourself as you like these obscure books and may have heard something over the years. It portrays to my current obsession Fox Feature Syndicate books and CGCs labeling of them. I have noticed on many of the later issues they either site, "Charles Nicholas" who I thought was a pseudonymous/phony name created by the publisher so the writers couldn't stake claim to their characters or they list nothing at all when a book is clearly illustrated by a certain person. Any idea why CGC chose to go that route and list someone like Nicholas who to my knowledge is only a pen name instead of the actual artist who in certain instances actually signed many of the covers (i.e. Patenaude)? I am seriously intrigued by this my friend so any leads to the answer would be appreciated.

Holy!!!! Gee wiz Mister that's a great copy. Never have seen one for sale. Wish i was buying these from 2007-2012 though with an 8.0 selling for less than $500!! No way it sells that cheap again anytime soon. Great copy of a great book man!!
