  3. 'B. Fuje' is the same guy who did all those graphic Hangman stories in the 40s, correct? Kind of a different direction here! totally Agree!! He did Pep 34s cover. Also check out some of his splashes on the Flying Dutchman which were in the Airboy Comics. Fujitani worked for a bunch of publishers but like you said this is a bit off the beaten path from what i'm used too from him great book Bedrock!!

  7. I saw those Foxes in the HA Sunday night auction. A little surprised that they weren't included in the signature auction, but the consignor still received strong prices. It is a very sharp looking copy and a nice pickup. +1 Yes, indeed, a real nice presenting book with a beautiful red cover to boot! Not so sure about the strong prices for the consignor though. Although this particular issue out of the four available did go for multiples of guide, it looks like Fantastic 9 sold at a discount to guide while issue #10 sold just barely at guide price. Especially since both of these issues were relatively high grade in the sense that they had only 1 higher graded copy. Not so sure the consignor would be happy with these prices on an overall basis, as I certainly would not be. Especially when raw low grade copies of Wonderworld's 11 & 12 were fetching close to 3K on eBay a few months ago while these relatively high grade Fantastic's only sold for $550 to $850 each. But a Fantastic steal of a deal (pun fully intended) for the buyer of these last 3 issues. #8 is the last of the fine/simon run. imo, there should be a tremendous dropoff thereafter, until the cool later books come around. 9 & 10 are not very desirable as far as i can tell. Fantastic pickup!! Love it!! From the front cover scan the book looks NearMint!!
  8. Love ALL 3 BBs BP and congrats on the upgrade!!!! sweet books man!! Sweet Wonder 1 Aardvark!!!

  12. I have about 20 pieces of OA...all silver surfer....have a few Kirby's, buscema's, a cover, and some Lim, byrne, etc.... oa is neat, just not my thing...high profile pieces probably a good investment, but some lessor demand, really a tough call... Cool beans thanks!! That's about where i'm at. Well not even there yet exactly as there are still too many books i REALLY want and have to keep the warchest ready for but would like a few pieces someday but they would certainly have to call out to me. Gonna just keep watching and learning for now and maybe someday an Action 15 cover will fall into my lap
  13. Now onto a question for me. I know you have an affinity for everything Mego, I know you love some Terrific 5 and Whiz 22. I also have seen you post that you have a few really neat Heshka's. What's your stance on OA? Not really from an investment standpoint I'm just curious is that something you are into as well? I've seen a ton of pieces go off the auction blocks and i'm trying to follow it but it's just so random with so much out there it's hard to get into for me. Sure there are pieces here and there that i think Wow that's really cool but i'm just wondering because i've heard OA is the obvious stepping stone from GA but i'm just not sure that's going to be my path.
