GL20 may sell for the most $$$ right now, but the definitions stay the same. MANY times lately the speculator market moves too fast, takes the first wiki hit it can find, and just puts money in the wrong places without even reading the material. The problem is, once money is in something, its hard to get it out. People are invested and they want it to stay that way, even when it doesn't make sense. IMO It will fix itself only when people are tired of getting burned. I would be PISSED if I paid good $$$ on GL20 to read about this new Jessica Cruz character, and ended up with nothing but one panel and a fist. In the mean time, if the market is gonna pay good $$$ for these lame cameos, I'm happy to sell them all off, and keep loading up on 31's ^this. Because it's how it should be.

I took a break during Spider Gwen's 1st app. Me too! But then, weeks later - maybe months, I found a guy in TX who was pimping EOSV #1-5 for 20 shipped. All #2 came back 9.8 too! I remember this. Me too, and you were nice enough to share! GO!GO!GO!

Actually the secret retailer Invincible Iron Man 10 is kind of a cool book and it's also the first appearance of J.A.R.V.I.S. The second print of issue 11 is still tough to find. A quick search shows 1 on Ebay for 22 bucks. Some news (maybe) under the radar, Danielle Cage: Captain America 20XX - the daughter of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, is now part of the main marvel universe (do they still call it 616?) Previously of the Ultron Forever / New Avengers storyline, soon to be at the center of USAvengers. Her intro page is SWEET!

Wow really? Even back issues? They most have alot of boxes. if I want more than 1 I usually preorder...they're really uptight about people making a potential profit off them. This reminds me of something that happened with my girls. We used to buy them 2 Webkinz every other week if they helped with chores and kept their grades up. The saved some, used some, and sold some on ebay. One day, I take them into the same Hallmark that we always purchased from and the lady at the counter advises 1 per kid as long as they aren't the same ones. I walked out, took them to them to a department store and let them pick a toy. Haven't visited a hallmark since. Bad business for them and did away with a product's ability to sell through. I looked for Webkinz on ebay a month or two ago and they have around a 10% sell through on the first 500 items. Absolutely dumb idea to not sell when there is demand. Around here, ONLY buying 10 is considered sharing and proper etiquette

Good grief, I don't think any of the LCS around here order that many copies total of IIM. Portland Oregon is a comic collectors heaven! Besides Fraction Rucka, Bendis, Kelly Sue, David Walker and more all living here, We have 5-6 great stores in the Portland area alone, not to mention the Vancover WA/Eugene/Salem stores. Even the worst stores here would be the best stores elsewhere. Love living in Portland! Comic town USA

Yes. But not you? Yes, I've read this series. That is why I'm questioning why there is more than a $4-5 value associated with these specific issues. There is nothing overly significant. It's a great series, but today that rarely equates to monetary value. Occasionally. American Alien saw a spike due to readership demand. Once it happens, though, the spec machine starts rolling, and the LCS bushes are beaten relentlessly for copies to free up on eBay. This usually quells some of the demand. King's Vision = Fractions Hawkeye.

Over/under on how many issues of this new Champions book gets published. I will say under 12... Only because Mark Waid is writing, I would take the over 12 ?

TOUGH book to find. Have only found 3x smith variant in the last 4 years, and no Moore variants ever. I notice one (Moore) sold for 60 quick last night. eBay has been a ghost town on this book. I have an explanation. All-New Ghost Rider #1 wasn't released until March 2014, so for roughly two years you were looking for a comic that didn't exist. Now that pre-heat speculation right there. Look for a comic that hasn't come out yet! ! My bad, confused my timeline with the Alejandra GR series.

IIM 7 is a first appearance. The market doesn't care about the extent of the appearance with modern books. Content doesn't matter anymore. In the past a reader might value a later appearance of a character over a one panel teaser in a previous issue but that doesn't apply these days. A person with a genuine interest in the Riri Williams character might personally value issue 9 or 10 more than issue 7 because those issues flesh out the character a bit, but that person is in the buying minority. Those issues have no incentive variants. They have no reprints with lower print numbers. Thats because the modern flipper doesnt read comic books today. I agree with the IM7/IM9. To me issue 9 AoA variant has the biggest potential, the AoA was a 1:1 variant not a 1 :10, 1:25 etc... It dont hurt to get issues 7 to 10 for Riri fans. Issue 9 will organically grow where as issue 7 only is in demand because is a pump and dump book. Way too many new people learning the ropes in this hobby trying to find that next kamala/x23 book, that new hot #1 series. We got people buying and praising Lois N Clark 1 as being new superboys 1st app, then turn around the next week and say superboy 19 is the "real" 1st app, when this are clearly 2 diff people like someone once said "that speaks volumes" as to where people are today when it comes to comics. At the end of the day people can spend their cash however they please, and the new boys in the hobby should do some research and learn it that way, but is good for them to get a few dents along the way and follow that weekly flavor of the week, just dont fall asleep with those books on your hands. Anyways, enough of that. Pre heat pis for IIM 7/9 AoA I disgree since it is a 1:1 ratio. The regular issue has her on the cover drawn by the creator. The issue to have is the regular. Plus, if you look at ebay sales Before the last two people were buying the regular issue not the variant. They may have been 1:1 but nobody ordered them that way. I have built 2x sets and they are not easy to find in the wild, went right over the head of most LCS's.

Does the outer packaging have any dates? Yes. Back of the box is blank, but is packed with this info sheet, shrink wrapped to the back. I have cracked 5 of these past year. (Three had a MOS 18 5th, two had a MOS 18 4th.)

Batman Rebirth should be a hot book. Duke is in the Batcave talking to Batman about being a Robin... and Batman tells him he has something else in mind. A new costume is shown to Duke. No name is given to the suit but Duke is shown wearing it towards the end of the book... nice spoiler...hope a cool name goes with it. Edit Image found
