They should be wanting to do something a bad check over $500 is typically a felony and if you know where the merchandise is the odds are if he sold them to a huge seller that he took some form of ID before kicking up that kind of scratch. I would be going back to the Police with as much information as I could gather

Has anyone ever heard of this web site? Comic Book Headquarters Wife found it on group on and it had some deal but stated shipping not included so I went digging around the site and there are some decent books so I added a few to the cart and went to check out through paypal and there was again nothing regarding shipping. I find it impossible to believe someone is selling a 10-12 dollar slab and that includes shipping...but looking around the site it was registered in 2012 and it has a private registration through GoDaddy but I was able to find the owners name. address and facebook...

Great guy picked up just a couple books in his recent sales thread and since he wanted MO or PC I waited til I was sure he would be done posting books but forgot all about it as it totally just slipped my mind about the MO or PC He reminded me very nicely and I of course apologized profusely it was after all my mistake. He graciously allowed me to PayPal him as I offered to overnight the check or MO. I sent the PayPal F & F sale was 16 + 4 shipping and i didn't want him eating it and since I was in the wrong so I also added another 5 bucks to it and after all of that he was still kind enough to send an additional free book for my son Nicholas. Kudos my good man and again sorry....

nope. it was more like "nice... the book is well below market and there are 4 people trying to snipe a charity auction" or something like that... which led to my question here "ebay is able to show snipers?" which I thought might be some new function they had... but it sounds like you just were equating watchers to snipers? He also called them dbags Yeah, I saw that too - something about "4 dbags looking to snipe" I suppose it's impossible that someone saw that book and: A) Had a similar copy and wanted to see where this one ended, or B) Came across and it and wanted to check past sales so they marked it to watch and come back later when they knew what they wanted to bid, or C) Were running through all the books from that particular title in a search and was bookmarking them as they saw them so they could return later, having them all on his "my eBay page". Reason & logic have no place here! We could be using our time jumping to conclusions instead!

Picked up a small stack of books that were packed well and shipped quickly a freebie book was included. I would buy from again with no hesitation.

I had never even had any thoughts of the group I remember the cartoon as a child but lemme tell ya getting a PayPal email saying that the "Government Regulations require us to take a closer look at some transactions. Your payment is temporarily pending while we review it." Is quite the WTF moment then listening as the lady explained the reasoning I did feel more at ease but still twas a real scare for a 50 cent book...... Live and learn........

I would also like to say thanks as i do not follow Heritage and would have had no idea..... I would also like to give an FYI When I buy something I list on paypal in the comments a list of the books I purchased for my records. I have recently purchased an Issue of Isis and found that due to placing the Isis name in the thread it will take an additional 24-48 hours to clear. Something i would never have thought of so just a heads up
