An open letter to the CGC boards and members from jop. I have been having issues since xmas time 1st with a very unexpected truck repair that was a couple of thousand dollars more than expected. That alone put me so truly behind the 8 ball financially that yes, I could not even afford postage to send out items to the winners as I refused to send out 1 persons' if I could not send out all of them. I no longer have access to well over 90% + of my books at this time and no way of knowing when it will be permitted. I had spoken and sent out a blanket message regarding this to all of the winners. 2 responded . 1 was Lance and I am sorry but right now I can not remember the other party's name. 1 person who answered said "don't worry about it we all go through issues" and the other said "just sell my things and help yourself." I do NOT want that and told them so. My word has always been a huge thing with me so much that I have" honor" tattooed on my neck. My word means so much more to me than most of you could even imagine, but the ability to access and make people whole at the moment is impossible. I did sell things and bought other books. I lost money on every single sale just to be able to pay off the bill on my vehicle. The books purchased were bought for others that wanted them and those people gave me a small finders fee to basically live on. I apologize if that makes some of you angry or mad. Things are very personal and I will NOT discuss the issues on a public internet chat board. I have mentioned certain things to people over the months . They were people I knew with whom I at least feel more comfortable speaking and talking about things. If any of the participants would like more detailed information then I will explain in more detail because they deserve it

Sharon is probably one of the most respected and loved members. She is a kind, sweet, caring woman. She should be treated with the utmost respect, she has NEVER picked a fight here and generally is the first to offer ANYBODY help. She is very guarded by all here, I refer to her as the forum mother. She is all class though, and should be spoken to and treated like a lady. I know I have spoken with Sharon numerous times and in PM as soon as that came out. She knows that no offense was ever meant although we shall never speak of undergarments again............

I just don't like the word "Manifesto" reminds me of some very ill individuals that committed heinous crimes against humanity. I do not think Rupp is as disturbed as these other individuals but the tracking keeping timelines and the back and forth is tedious at best. That said here are my thoughts/questions although none of them matter: 1. Did Rupp create the offensive memes? 2. Were they distributed to board members? 3. Photobucket has default public setting easy to change to private 4. Disturbing as some of the memes are I seriously doubt people are mentally scarred from viewing them. 5. Individuals with enough computer knowledge can and do access private photo albums all over the web and do change things on the photos. (This is not a defense of anyone or a conspiracy theory but a fact that is done daily) 6. The 2 groups seem to dislike each other a great deal. Why not use the ignore button and leave it at that? 7. It sounds as if this feud has been going on for sometime that most boardies have seen,hear or know of it depending on the length of membership. The mod's I am sure also are aware of how these groups feel against each other. It is their board let them make the decisions! (Even if I still do not agree with my strike but that is neither here nor there.) 8. There were rules and terms of use when signing up for the board. If one of them was broken then let the mod's do their thing 9. This seems like a grade school squabble sometimes after reading through all of the posts. Really a meme as a form of revenge? 1st off I have no dog in this race but have purchased fro Rupp for sure and possibly others in this thread. Lots of reading but not much substance at all. To whomever stated that They feel bad if those memes wouldn't make you sick to your stomach or along those lines, not looking back just remember seeing it. Many of the boardies on here have served in war and saying those comments about a meme is just not even on the same level. It does seem that certain people/cliques have more power regarding their opinions then others as I remember well from questioning rules that weren't explained and having to be insulted by people regarding my deceased sister and drinking and alcoholics but no one cared about my feelings regarding a very "real" and truly sad situation. The board tries to make it sound like it is a community out for the best interests of all involved but with the cliques and groups that gather and strike at each other well thats about as close as you can get to being a "real" community. There are even robberies and scams like the "real" world. I don't think there has ever been an incident of someone BEING banned at 12 before. I voted for the HOS, because I see it as a joint HOS vote and mine is for the father, not the child. When I first heard about what was going on and read the father's posts I was pretty sure he didn't realize what was going on, but as the days passed it was the father's statement that he was monitoring everything that changed my mind. I still believe it was the kid posting, but I'm more and more willing to believe that he was guided and encouraged. Even though he's obviously an extremely bright child, he's only a child. I have some really odd pms from a kid who was pretending to be an adult. The one sentence that really sticks in my mind is this one. "I hold a couple things dear in my life, my reputation is one of them. " I think it's sad that a child would say something like that and have no idea what it means because obviously his parent has taught him the wrong thing. So, if GIJoe the child, reaches the age of 18, and can show he's really learned the difference, I'd be willing to explore making some kind of exception for the HOS listt...but I think the father is old enough now (assuming he's the 40 yr old) and deserves the HOS forever. I actually think he deserves to stand in the corner for the next 6 years...(the father)...but that's another story. My guess is I guess we won't have to worry about it in 6 years. There will be some other site where a 12 year old can post and be encouraged by his parent to pretend he's an adult. fore it.

There will most likely be no changes from reading through this thread but what about the suggestion that since the information/warning looks so much like the boards post that it receive O I dunno a different font or coloring scheme, a different border something that draws the attention to it.
