  1. Thanks for info Jay much appreciated! What other ST's were in the original release? It wasn't a complete pre-code run was it?
  2. Aurora also Just a plain old ST 24: http://www.comicbookpedigrees.com/pedigrees.php#AURORA
  3. Very nice eye Adamstrange, wish that LLC was in better shape.
  4. One more early ST, going to get hammered because of chip but otherwise a nice copy.
  5. One more, top 3 ST pre-code cover for me (blood on guillotine).
  6. Here is the other one. Still not sure which one I want to slab. I need pick one as I work towards to completing a pre-code ST run.
  7. A recent Strange Tales buy and one of my favorite covers:
  8. Very cool. Congrats. Post a pic when it arrives!
  9. Very, very nice copy from where I am sittiging! Big congrats.
  10. Does anyone know of any early Atlas (any title) that were originally produced with one staple in the middle as opposed to two staples? Thanks in advance. Johnny
  11. Initially at Atlas he was forced to work off of Burgos's layouts for his covers. This makes a lot of sense in terms of explaining the quality of his work over time - thanks AS.
  12. It may be blasphemy to say, but Heath had a few lackluster covers...
  13. Thanks Scrooge! 17 is more than a dozen, but still amazing that out of all Atlas books only 17 graded a 9.6 and only two made 9.8. Amazing. Titles x issues per title x print run per issue = (insert rough calculation of how many tens of millions). Insanely rare to have a 9.6 Atlas book. Johnny
  14. One of these days I am going to take a census of all Atlas books graded 9.6 - I bet there would be less than a dozen. This is a complete freak of nature like the Uncanny in the Clink auction. To my knowledge there is no Atlas book graded a 9.8.
  15. Was this in the HA weekly auction? Awesome cover, love this artists style reminds me of some cartoons of today.
  16. You can run a search on comic connect and look for high grade Atlas war books and come up with just about nothing. So these two are indeed amazing and rare and more importantly some of the better covers. Johnny
  17. Spokane colors seem richer than nearly all other pedigrees...just my two cents.
