  1. Lovely thread. Just stellar. Alright, now do Flash Comics, Daring Comics and Mystic Comics. :-)
  2. Many thanks. Loads of pretty books among those titles. I love that Flash run, but it felt like time to let most go. I might reassemble in a higher grade at some point. I held back a few I couldn’t live without, including my 96, which is on par with the AF32 as being miserably tough. And cool.
  3. Yeah, 36 is awfully tough. I’d go #30 in grade. The AF32 was mine too. It’s tougher than either of those GLs.
  4. Also, one thing that people might not have noticed was that the entire GL run was FN or better. That took some hunting. A few of those are pretty challenging. That #30, for instance, sooooo hard to find a decent copy of that.
  5. Yeah, I put a few runs in the auction. Negro Romance wasn’t one. Overall, things have balanced out thus far (*raps wood*). Some have over-performed, some under. GLs weaker across the board than I hoped - save for the 33. Space Adventures up tonight. That set was pretty challenging (and cool). A few of those are tough, tough, tough (5, 14, and 19 among others).... I’m not liquidating, but I did part with a pretty hefty load. Plan on refocusing parts of my collecting a bit. Cut a bit deeper than I should have in hindsight, as I have some seller’s remorse.
  6. I have something to do with that. The Miss Fury was also my book. Beautiful copy, which I got years ago from a super-stellar boardie. Someone got a winner there.
  7. Hoping that ends up true for me here as well. I could be slightly ahead of schedule then.
  8. No idea what kind of knucklehead would let those pretty Franks go.
  9. I wish I knew bidding patterns better. As a consignor in this, it’s hard to know how I’m tracking. I put in a number of things this time around, some I regret sending across. Keen to see how it shakes out.
  10. Another good one is Prize Frankenstein. At issue 18, it switches from humor to horror. Hard left. Great series. No, not super-hero related, but a cool pivot towards what was hotter at the time.
  11. Put my Larson National Comics #1 up for auction through ComicConnect, if someone’s looking for a fun addition to their pile. Already miss it. https://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=845668
  12. Underbidder on the Flash Comics 31 and the Mystic 8. Should have went a bit higher on the Flash.
  13. I made hard charges on two books...and lost on both. My strikeouts are mounting as of late.
  14. I’d go anywhere but CCS. For anything. Shoot, do it yourself, as mentioned above. Amateur hour over at CCS.
  15. I had the same happen, because I wanted better pictures of staples. I’ve bought from them before, but I’ve had to have a buddy place the bids. Pretty odd seller, but what I’ve gotten has been legit.
  16. Yeah, it’s the most scarce (can say that with some confidence). Very challenging mainstream book.
